Food and Beverage Pizza Leon is a California inspired pizza company, where the product was born and perfected at a family owned restaurant in Bakersfield, CA. It is there that the owner of Pizza Leon got his first start in the pizza industry. His love and passion, along with endless hours, trial and error efforts for the business grew and inspired him to move forward and branch out on his own bringing what he learned to the city of Austin.

This place is solid, really good. Definitely a step up from the well known national chain pizzas but isn’t exactly elite in the category of higher end pizza.
The mozzarella sticks are thick, it’s like biting into fried slightly soft cheese but I loved it. Imagine those mozzarella sticks you peal (but higher quality ofc) but fried. I enjoyed them, you could taste the cheese.
The pizza itself was good, not anything I’d rave about but better than a chain store that’s for sure. It was filling enough, I probably could have finished a whole small to myself but combined with the cheese sticks I only had half and saved the other half for lunch.
Overall if you want good pizza this is a good place so check it out

First time trying the pizza. It was good. I don’t appreciate the guy lying about the pricing for ranch. He told me a dollar and charge my card 1.63. Bad enough a pizza and salad was $30 dollars. Next time be truthful. Everything was ok for this to be a food truck.

First time ordering here so was excited about trying a new pizza place. I ordered a a medium pizza and the cheese bread…Honestly don’t waste your money. I don’t post much reviews at all because I know that every place has its good and bad days but seriously food was cold. Bad service or should I say no service. Unprofessional. The kid at the window was not very nice or welcoming or anything. Just disappointed I spent money I should’ve might as well spent on a big food chain or some frozen pizza. This place is just terrible I don’t know how a business can stay up and running when it’s this bad.

Pizza was good but not nearly good enough to justify the price. Anchovy pizza and pineapple pizza are two of my go-to orders so I tried the JRE. I liked it but as someone who has had a lot of different kinds of anchovies I was very confused that the anchovies on my pizza both looked and tasted like sardines, not sure what kind of anchovies they use but they weren’t as salty and were more meaty than anchovies usually are and had a much more fishy taste that I wasn’t crazy about.

The ranch is more of a salad dressing though instead of a dipping sauce, I’ll go with a different dip next time.
Pizza taste would benefit from a protective layer between the bottom of the pizza and the cardboard box. I could start to taste the cardboard when I arrived at work 15 mins after picking up the pizza.

This truck came up on Google when I was looking got pizza places and it seems relatively new. As far as cheese and toppings go it’s kind of the platonic ideal of a pizza to me. Pizza was finished before I arrived and then had ten minute drive home so take these minor complaints with a grain of salt but the dough was a little chewy and I could have used more sauce but that is a personal preference. Would definitely be happy to come back again and maybe just ask for more sauce next time. Hope they continue having success so they stick around.

I’ve been here several times and overall enjoy the pizza, however, the last time I went my pizza had a piece of rubber band baked into it. I emailed them instead of posting it, but received no response.
