With all the hype I decided to try them out tonight, the pizza was super small and just kind of bland and the breadsticks were super skinny and burnt really dark brown, the only good thing was the cheese sauce which im sure just comes in a can. For the cost of everything I expected more. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the employees were nice – but I’ll never waste money on Pizza King again, not in this economy.

We drive by 3 other locations to dine it at this location. We like our breadsticks half baked and they make them just right at this location. Misty is an amazing waitress. She also makes the best chef salad around. The Royal Feast is our favorite, but all of the pizzas are good. The manager, Jay, made our pizza tonight and it was delicious. The service is always great and so is the food!

Yesterday I went in and ordered about 70 dollars worth of food. 2 smaller pizzas, a royal spaghetti, bread stixs, and a chef salad… well let me me tell ya. Only thing that was right was the pizza and bread stixs… the spaghetti was served up in a very small container… (when served in the store ik I got 3 times more of the proportion just on a plate from the past experience but this time I took my food to go) and what chef salad gets served in a small to go container and missing tomatoes, eggs, and croutons… for 70 dollar bill, and watching how the manger had a smirk on his faces gave me the for sure feeling he was up to something since his whole crew thinks 70 dollars worth of food is alot in this day and age….

My pizza was poorly made I had heard many good things about Pizza King. But my first experience is probably my last. The pizza total was 26.56 I had $2.00 off coupon that was not honored. Please see photo of the pizza. I had to eat it because I no other options for lunch. The taste was not pleasing because of the expectation did not meet the experience of a well made pizza. The pizza was not delicious tasting at all not enough sauce. I didn’t want to show the rest of the pizza it was so bad.

The Madison Ave Pizza King is always our Pizza King of choice. The pizza and breadsticks are consistently cooked to order and if something isn’t right, they make it right. The service is what sets this Pizza King apart from the rest in Anderson. Misty is one of our favorite servers, she is always attentive and friendly.
