We used to love pizza hut… but unfortunately due to my last experience with delivery my opinion has dramatically changed. My family always orders the same thing, and it used to come perfect every time… we like our pizzas a little extra cooked so they are extra crispy and when we say we’ll do e we always get the pizzas perfectly… this time around our pizzas and our breads ticks were so well done they were basically burnt… one of the pizzas the dough was cooked so much we literally couldn’t even bite through it with out hurting our mouths! Not to mention the pizzas were about 20 minutes late… I still tipped the driver not as much as normal but I was hoping it wasn’t his fault… but then when we looked at the pizzas my whole family had a dumbfounded look like are they serious right now. We gave the pizzas a try anyways and were extremely dissapointeddisappointed… not only were we left hungry but we waisted a good amount of money as well… I guess it’s time to give papa John’s a try.

Ordered 1 pizza and wings midday on a weekday. Over an hour and 10 minutes pass, I call to ask for a refund. Manager claims they were busy, denied my refund and hung up on me. Food later arrived ice cold and the driver just dropped it in my hands, gave me a dirty look, mumbled some complaint, and rushed off.

Rude service. Was told food had been delivered. Food was not delivered within specified time. I called the number spiked to someone and he told me he was going to transfer me to the store where my food was coming from as if I didn’t dial the correct number. I explained the situation to the guy on the phone and he just started laughing as if something was funny and then said my order was sent back out and should be on the way. Didn’t explain any thing further. Once the food arrived the driver just left the food on the porch when I never chose that option online. The only reason I knew the food was out there was because I heard him walk up. He didn’t knock or anything to indicate my food had arrived. It would have sat there and gotten cold. Poor service all around.

This applies to Pizza Hut in general. Customer service and use of the application have just tanked over the last couple of years. I went to order ahead of time before the store opened and I just got my order denied after 2 hours. Cool, I got my money back, but what about the gift card I used? I used another gift card a couple of months back and the App conveniently crashed during the payment process and my gift card amount was used and no order was placed. Now I’m hearing Pizza Hut outsources delivery to door dash? That’s why I stopped ordering Papa John’s. Dominos it is! Best customer service and delivery in the business.

Placed online order at 8:30 this morning to be delivered at noon only to have the restaurant manager call me to let me know that he didn’t know when my pizza would be here because my order was turned over to door dash. It’s now 12:20 and no pizza yet. When you pay extra for convenience it shouldn’t be so inconvenient.
