I’ve been coming to the Pizza Barn in ossipee, New Hampshire since I was a young boy. That’s over 50 years of repeat business. Something tells me that’s about as greater review as one can offer.

The Pizza Barn is exactly what you can imagine given its name. It’s a giant Barn filled with full size picnic tables.
The pizza was awesome and when coupled with couple of pitchers of beer or soda, your meal is complete.
The staff here have always been very friendly and attentive.
This is just a great place to grab a real simple meal with friends and family.

The first time I came here was about 1978. I spent far too many years not visiting. My return was delicious and everything I remember about the barn. I promise it won’t be decades before I return again.

Food was okay, good for a quick lunch. Took a chance and stopped due to the previous reviews saying everything was homemade. Sadly the meatballs are not (asked didn’t try em) We got the wings which we’re fabulous per 3 of us. The pizza is absolutely loaded with roni, plus because it was thicker cut. 2 of the 4 of us liked it alot. The fries were standard and my chicken parm sub was processed chicken tenders, would of passed if I asked. We opted for draft beer which was perfectly fresh and had ice crystals which I love. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get here but would stop again if hungry and driving by. Side note the kids loved the small inexpensive arcade area during the food prep.

Going on vacations with my family as a child, we would make trips to the Pizza Barn, so I have tons of memories about this place. I do not live in the area, but I have a yearly Kanc Highway loop drive that I go on that usually ends with a pit stop at the Pizza Barn.

Awesome place. The open hours can be a little inconsistent depending on the season, but it’s always worth it. Truly a gem of my childhood and of the area.

Get the pepperoni pizza. It’s really something else.

We love the pizza barn. I’ve been going here since I was a kid. I’ve since moved away from the area, so visits are less frequent. Now, when I go, I always get the farmers daughter…delicious! Kids play games in the arcade, and we put a few songs on the jukebox. If you have never been, it’s worth a visit. Their pizza is unique, and we always need a fork and knife to eat it. It’s big old barn, a bit dark, with benches and tables. Service is great, food doesn’t disappoint. We make it a point to stop when we are in the area.

Solid Local Spot with Welcoming Service & Fair Prices
Stopped by during our adventure through the area and had a pleasant experience at this local establishment.
The Experience:
Service & Atmosphere:

Genuinely friendly and welcoming staff
Good service throughout our visit
Comfortable, local restaurant vibe
Made us feel welcome as visitors to the area

Food & Pricing:

Fair prices for the portion sizes
Food quality was decent overall
Skip the taco pizza – too many cold toppings piled on top made it less enjoyable
Other menu items were more successful

Location Context:

Definitely one of the better restaurant options in this rural area
Good stop if you’re exploring the region
Bonus discovery: Cool old train bridge nearby if you explore a bit from the parking lot!

Bottom Line:
While it wouldn’t be my top choice in a city with more dining options, Pizza Barn serves its community well with friendly service and reasonable prices. Perfect for what it is – a reliable local spot in a rural area.
Best for:

Road trip stops through the area
Families looking for casual dining
Anyone wanting a friendly, no-frills meal
Exploring the historic train bridge nearby

Food recommendations: Stick with their traditional pizza options rather than specialty items like the taco pizza.
Would I return? If I’m back in the area, yes – it’s a solid choice for the location and the staff makes it worthwhile.

Been going to Pizza barn for 45+ years. Farmer’s daughter was always completely loaded. It was cut back a bit when prices rose on supplies a few years back. Understandably. Had one tonight. Literally 1/4 of the ingredients of about five years ago and more money , not impressed at all sorry to say.

Nice good, egg plant Parmesan was delicious and meat ball were good. We did order ahead for take out so we didn’t have a chance to sit and eat.

We came in on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were extremely nice. Unfortunately pizza was not great. Disappointed because its such a staple in this area. The sauce tasted like the can it came from. The “fresh” peppers tasted like it had been overcooked in water. And the dough was cooked but due to the amount of sauce the dough was soggy. The mozzarella sticks however was good. I ate that while my husband forced down the pizza.

$35 for a 16″ Hawaiian pizza

Edot: reply to business reply: Nope, that’s just the pizza w/ tax. Drinks and salad extra. 16″ is a medium in most real pizza places. Theyd be serving a 24″ at that price, its not even an 18″ here! Tourist spot now, locals got screwed with ridiculous tourist prices, but hey it’s nothing new, same deal with White Lake and Hobbs pizza, not a decent spot in town. But still this one charges $10 more than the other high priced tourist spots, and full 2x what Mummas costs , why? It’s ironic cause they cater to people up from Mass, while I need to go to Mass to actually get good pizza and with prices easily 1/3 of $35 for a nothing-special-about-it MEDIUM Hawaiian.

Ps. Market Basket puts whole bacon strips on it’s Hawaiian, maybe at $35 make it a little more ‘done up’ like they do for their $12 20″ pizzas

Pizza Math Time – ⏰ – how pizza barn costs 2x more.

Pi(R squared)= pizza area | price / area = PPI (price per square inch)

Pizza barn “large” 16″ Hawaii
$35/(3.14(8*8))= $0.174 per square inch

Mumma Cristy’s large 18″ Hawaii
$21/(3.14(9*9))=$0.08 per square inch

Over 2x as expensive, and no gold leaf, make it make sense
