I keep giving the bennifit of a doubt, yes when I call and make a complaint they offer to fix the issue, however there is always something…
One time I asked for mild spice I could barely eat it, as it was too spicy..
I have asked for no veg, and it was 1/2 broccoli and no sauce. I was told I have to say NO broccoli.. not just no veg.
So when I ask for no broccoli there is no veggies at all.. I just don’t want the hard broccoli and carrots as the broccoli often tastes off.
This time I said no broccoli, mild spice with chicken..
There was next to no chicken, two different types of noodles no veggies and dripping in sauce..(I guess it was the missing sauce from last time)
There is absolutely no consistency in the product at this location, other then the flavor..
I really don’t like leaving a bad review, unfortunately the inconsistencies have me very disappointed.
I have posted two pictures to show how much sauce was left at the bottom after eating it.
The prep and delivery time were excellent; we recieved our food within half an hour. However, the food itself was pretty bad. First off, it was cold. How does that happen within half an hour? And second, there was next to no sauce in either of our Kung Pao Chicken dishes. Lastly, my wife said ‘no’ to the Asian vegetables, but they literally cut out ALL vegetables and had a single piece of chicken in the entire bowl. Her dish was dry noodles with some crumbled peanuts and a piece of chicken… for over $20.
I read some of these recent reviews after recieving our order, before submitting my own review, and it seems across the board everyone agrees that this location has gone way down hill. It used to be the best Noodle Box in the city.
Overall, $50 for two cold dishes, one of which had basically nothing. I’m wondering if our two bowls were thrown together from whatever they had already made and laying around, because in half an hour, the food should’ve still been decently hot. But that doesn’t really explain the rest, unless it was thrown together by someone who just didn’t care ♂️
Interior was cool, staff were friendly. The water fountain with the rocks was pretty asian. This location much better than the Vancouver Noodle box.
Also the mild spice is just black pepper (not spicy at all).
I would be skeptical about the 1 star ratings below. Not sure who are the weirdos who are feeding this to their toddler or wondering why there’s no fresh mango: this place is fast food for under $20, not a 5 star restaurant ♀️.
This is a normal asian fast food location. They definitely deliver what’s expected.
Side note to the manager:
Copy and pasting your “I’m sorry you had a bad experience” reply, only reflects how truly little you care about your customers. You and your whole team should be ashamed.
What happened to the flavor? Why not trust the original recipes?
