Hands down the best ribs and baked beans in my life. Staff was awesome and beyond friendly. Highly suggest to make a stop here to get anything on the menu! The sauces are incredible. I felt like I was stepping back in time to an era that doesn’t exist anymore with a restaurant.

Wow! Incredible food. Best BBQ ever, and we eat a lot of BBQ! Huge portion of half ribs, a lot of pulled pork in the sandwich, and we had an extra pile of brisket. Melts in your mouth. Great pitmaster and the young lady helping was busy making fresh cut fries! A must stop location if you are anywhere near! Feb 2025 Editing to add the last photo of the take out box of ribs! We came back for another lunch and was done eating as the racks of ribs were removed from the smoker. Had to take some home!

A couple of friends and I decided to try the BBQ here yesterday for lunch. First, the food was excellent. What really made this so enjoyable were the owner and other gentleman helping out there. It was so casual. They made us feel welcome and like we were family. We joked with them and laughed until we hurt. It’s missing the fancy but filled with heart. The prices were good and we will definitely go back.

PSA. I DID USE AI TO WRITE THE REVIEW BUT ITS ALL TRUE
If you’re searching for top-tier barbecue, look no further than put master bbq. I was completely blown away by the quality of the food and the genuinely warm welcome from the owner.
The brisket is, without a doubt, a must-try. It’s incredibly tender, boasts a perfect smoke ring, and just melts in your mouth—easily some of the best I’ve ever had. And the ribs? Fall-off-the-bone tender with a delicious, rich bark. Every bite was packed with that classic, slow-smoked flavor that real BBQ lovers crave.
Beyond the fantastic meat, the experience is made even better by the hospitality. The owner is incredibly friendly, clearly passionate about his craft, and takes the time to check on customers. It’s that kind of personal touch that elevates a great meal to an unforgettable experience.

Pit Masters is absolutely awesome! The people are wonderful! Allen is super friendly and welcoming. The young lady who took care of us is prompt and sweet. The food is next level. This is some of the best brisket I have ever eaten in my travels. The sides are delicious, too. Fresh homemade fries and coleslaw are awesome. I loved the hot bbq sauce, too. Took a rack of ribs back to the camper for a snack later on…oh my goodness. Ribs are fall of the bone and delicious. Don’t walk run to this place!!! Highly, highly recommend.

Excellent BBQ and excellent conversation with the owner.
And, their hot sauce is just the right amount of heat that allows the other flavors to shine through.

Absolutely fantastic place. We got the ribs, pulled pork sandwich, and fries. The fries are hand cut and addicting. The ribs fell off the bone, and the pulled pork was tender and juicy. Kenny was delightful and hospitable, an absolute joy to chat with. Next time we pass through Winchester this will be top on our list!

The smell of the grill fills the downtown streets. My mouth was watering before we even parked the truck and the food did not dissapoint. This is a great little spot for some yummy pork. When we all had our lunch the cook had a few minutes to ask where we were from so he could put a pin on his map. He seems like a very hard working man who knows how to cook that pork…. so yummy.

This place is amazing. The food is fresh -all of it. The Philly cheesecake melts in your mouth. And the ribs! Mercy. I wish I could give 10 stars. The owner is no doubt one of the nicest gentlemen I’ve ever met. Definitely going to be back.

This place is hidden at the main corner of the town. We were able to smell the large real wood smoker out front where they had prepped the meats. They’re known for their popular pulled pork sandwich. Also consider their smoked sliced brisket sandwich. They do have barbecue sauces, but always try the meat first to determine IF or How Much you need. If you like the smoky flavor, like I do, you’ll probably forego the sauce and enjoy the savory experience. Had the creamy coleslaw, which was a great compliment for the brisket. I normally prefer a tangy or lightly peppered coleslaw, but this was not bland at all. The smooth flavor paired well with the meal. Also grabbed the Ale-8-1 Ginger Ale that’s an eastern staple. Definitely a good quick lunch stop for meat lovers.
