Cheesesteak had hardly any meat on it (all I tasted was the roll), buffalo tenders only had a minimal amount of sauce on them with some spots without it completely, fries and tenders were soggy

Been going to pinewood over 30 years, I lived in arrow head, my mother lived there for 20 years and my sister still lives, super convenient for people who live in arrow head and surrounding area.
To have a quality deli five minutes away in this area is priceless, everything on the menu is off the hook good, it’s a bit in the pricey side, but well worth it, not to mention the convenience of the location.
Highly recommended for breakfast lunch or dinner.

Eddie and his family are great people that enjoy people enjoying food. Gail and I found this place 3 years ago through our friends Kim and Terry. He’s done a couple of catering things for us and just stopping in for breakfast and lunch has never been a bad experience. I think he needs to retire and open a place in Florida right next to me. Take a look at this burger and fries. Quality food anytime, I like it .

Philly cheesesteaks with hot pepper, mushrooms(+$1.50), and onions are amazing! My family has been coming here for years.
Edit to add (and dock 2 stars): they’ve been downsizing the amount of meat they put in the cheesesteaks. $3 to get extra meat, $1/each for extra of other toppings. Just called at 7pm to order a cheesesteak and was told bc they close at 8 the meat slicer is turned off… Can only order an Italian or chicken parm. No thanks!

Thank you for saving our trip! No one doordashed to this area while we were in the Poconos for a birthday getaway. Luckily we met a local named Bob, and his African barkless dog, Kivu who reccomended you! He said the sandwiches were great, but by the end of our trip we’d tried just about everything, and loved it! Did I mention we had 4 kids with us???? Thank you!
