You can’t tap to pay at the table or even the cash register. You have to go behind their counter!
The corn and chips were good. The quesadilla I don’t really recommend.
The decor and vibe is nice.
However, service is not their strong point. The servers seemed disorganized and overlooked basic service fundamentals — water refills, drink timing, table marking, and food pacing. My drink arrived almost at the same time as my food. I ordered one appetizer and one entrée, yet both were delivered simultaneously. There was no silverware on the table; although the server acknowledged it, they forgot to bring it. I eventually had to walk to the bar myself to ask for a fork.
Small operational details like these make a significant difference in the overall dining experience and do not require additional cost — just attention and proper execution.
Other than that, the ingredients were good, the vibe was fun. The bartenders seemed to know how to make a balanced drink.
The atmosphere was really interesting, a bit dark, but with lots of flare and special touches. The result was cozy and festive.
The regular Margarita and the raspberry Margarita were delicious.
We ordered the (3) mushroom tacos with salsa and chips. The tacos were ok, not much else on them but mushrooms and sauce. They should’ve also been had double tortillas like they do traditionally because the corn tortillas are fragile and break easily. Ava maybe some peppers and lettuce or pineapple and something else to give more flavor and texture. Many times it seems as though the veg options are just thrown together without really creating a dish but just giving a basic option. Yes happy to have but come on try a little lol.
The chips and salsa were good. The salad was delish but again, very shallow dish/small portion overall.
Inside seating is small and dark. Outdoor seating on the patio is limited but much nicer.
