Chill environment with outside seating.
Look at that presentation
Patty working behind the bar is the first person your greeted by which let me say, not a good start. Her whole demeanor comes across like she doesn’t care about her job or to be helpful in the slightest. She just wasn’t how we wanted to start our morning and only smiled at us once her name was asked for. Just not a vibe gorl.
Another downfall to this place is you have to go up and order everythinggggg. Nobody ever comes to you – only to clear plates. Alfredo was very nice and did a great job with cleaning up our table.
We started with the the pretzelache and chips & queso. I wouldn’t recommend the queso brisket – they are greedy with the brisket and for $15 you’d think they actually give you some and the cheese was cold. The lache though was a crowd pleaser.
We got the steak and eggs next which was cooked to perfection (medium rare of coarse) the steak was so flavorful and big. The potato’s cooked just right and the egg wasn’t runny (over medium) 10/10 plate and for $21? Steal. (Oh – and it comes with biscuit and gravy which I wish the menu showed this bc don’t care for gravy on biscuits)
We also ordered the French toast plate which had some yogurt or something on top? Didn’t care for that. Made the bread get cold fast.
My mom got the waffle which looked good but didn’t get to try it.
My boyfriend and her also ordered the mimosa which is premade – wouldn’t recommend.
Also sees some of the menu items are off on price.
Overall I’d rate this brunch spot at a clean 4/10 solely for the steak and the DJ outside who provided the very smooth jams.
After ordering a fried Mahi Mahi and vegan taco for $3.50 each, a spicy mango margarita for $8 and a side of Brussels sprouts at the bar, I found a nice high top seat outside while I waited for my order to be brought to the table. I enjoyed both tacos but the vegan one packed the most flavor! The Brussels were lightly fried, coated in a sweet balsamic and topped with cojita cheese, delicious! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was a nice, chill vibe on a Thursday afternoon.
Also, enjoyed the Salty Senorita which was refreshing.
This place has a lot of character and the patio really creates for an escape from the concrete jungle of the city.
I could not figure out the band on our table
card- any guesses?
Basic wings to get us thru and they were good ( should have asked for extra batter good nonetheless ) but we definitely want to try the menu looks
The servicer and bartender was really nice and attentive , we did look around it has a nice atmosphere and great looking patio going to have to come back
We tried the chicken & waffles, brisket migas, chicken fried steak, and a biscuit with gravy. Everything was super flavorful, the portions were generous, and we all left really satisfied. Definitely a spot I’d go back to for a laid-back brunch!
