Hidden gem. I googled best places for lunch in Thomson GA and Pigg-ah-Boo’s came up at the top, so we went. I had the crab boil and my fiancé had chicken gizzards and wings. Everything was great- the breading on the gizzards was the best I’ve had- crunchy and seasoned and not too salty. My crab legs were covered in Old Bay. Definitely recommend stopping by.

We decided to make this our “one meal out” while camping at Mistletoe State Park, and boy, are we glad we did! Everything we had was delicious, down to the sweet tea! The chopped pork and ribs were so flavorful and tender, and the sides were cooked and seasoned to perfection! Daughter had the fried chicken sandwich, and she loved it too! The fried corn was amazing and the southern-style potato salad was exactly how it should be (like Grandma used to make).

Ate lunch here today, we got there after the lunch rush which lucky for us we had the place to ourselves, judging by the food this place is normally packed!!! Very friendly staff and owner, great service. We ordered a little bit of everything and it was all delicious, I nearly couldn’t continue our roadtrip because I needed a nap after that meal!! I don’t think I have ever devoured a serving of collards so fast in my life!! If we ever make it back through this part of the world we will absolutely be stopping by again!!

The owners provided great service. My picky 5 year old loved his pulled pork sandwhich and usually will waste most of his meals. Me and my daughter are all our sandwhiches and fries too. And we tried the Miami heat wings and they were fried perfectly. Not too mushy, not too crispy, just right. Our server was bringing things over we needed before we even needed to ask. Would stop by again if I were passing through again. A child menu would be helpful in the future!

I am sitting in the restaurant writing this review. That’s how good the food is. A small black owned business that is deserving of every rating here. The food is good and makes you feel at home. Found the spot while visiting Thomson. This place is a most to try! I had the fish with greens and Mac and cheese and every bit was great. The owners were kind and even came out and held personal conversations with us. You can’t get great service everywhere but this place stands out!

Oh my soul I’m still wallowing in the glory of their food! We stood there trying to decide what to order when the owner came out and gave his recommendation. My wife had the fried pulled pork sandwich, and I had the fried ribs. The ribs were delicious, and the fried pulled pork was divine! It was a patty of pork, Cole slaw, pickles and BBQ sauce, fried to give it a crisp exterior. I can’t say enough about how good it was! Everything is made after you order it, and it all came out hot. The funnel cake bites tasted almost like little apple fritter pieces, and we didn’t leave any behind! Great place with friendly people!

First time visit from out of town and would make the hour long trip again! Andre the owner was so great to meet and so hospitable; we chose to dine in and the collard greens were delicious as well as the chicken tenders with Miami heat sauce! Everything is made to order and so fresh, menu is not huge but something for everyone! Thank you, Andre and crew for a most enjoyable lunch:-))

These wings are legit fire! Bring this place to Columbia County! All of our food was scrumptious! Fried ribs, potato salad, Mac & cheese, deep fried pulled pork sammich (juicy meat I ever ate)! I just drove 45 minutes for it! Worth every dime and every mile.

The restaurant isn’t much for looks, but the food was pretty good. The Bar-B-Q pork sauce had a different kind of taste, but it was quite good. All of the side dishes were good; Cole slaw, potato salad, seasoned fries, and fried corn on the cob.
