I’m not completely sure if I heard the name correctly, but I believe it was Elias He provided exceptional service from start to finish. The sushi was incredibly fresh, delicious, and very clean. The buffet was absolutely worth the price — great quality, great variety, and excellent service throughout. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, and the staff made the dining experience even better. I truly enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!”

I particularly liked the garlic edamame, lychee sorbet, the futomaki roll, and the something’s wrong #7 roll. Our gals group of 3 had a blast trying so many items.
Service was exceptional just as we had read on reviews and heard from friends. Elise was one of the servers who gave us great input as we had some questions along the way. The place was loud and packed as expected for a Saturday evening. The wine selection is not great and very limited like most sushi restaurants. I could not find anything I really wanted to drink here and so I ordered the sugar-free soju. It comes in a bottle plain and you really don’t want to drink this by itself because it tastes like water down vodka. Not a great flavor. I ordered a $3.50 lemonade and mixed the two but the lemonade was really sweet for my liking. Basically, if they had some more drink options it would be a perfect place for dinner.

All around a really good dining experience. I love sushi and I’ve had it all over the US, Pier 50 Sushi was fantastic. For $50/person there’s an all-you-can-eat option. There is a such a large selection of sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and other related food items. Otherwise, if you don’t do the all-you-can-eat option when you order it’s almost like tapas. Lots of small plates with 3-4 pieces on each plate. The staff was amazing and very helpful in directing you on what to order. The atmosphere was calm and dark, and it made having a conversation easy to have. The waitress was on it with keeping drinks topped off. The food all tasted amazing. Just amazing. I would definitely eat here when I’m in the mood for sushi in Folsom again!

Honestly, still shocked how good this is! I am not a roll person. I love high quality nigiri with pickled wasabi. My son and I randomly came in after our movie and I was surprised by the “all you can eat” and then instantly quite hesitate. But after talking to the waiter, we agreed to give it a go. $45 for me, $20 for my kid and $1 for a beer. What can I say?! I’m shocked! The nigiri is SO good. It’s half the amount of rice as usual, which is amazing – more fish! Really great quality. They are very fast. The salmon belly was the prize. I also did some tofu which was excellent. There is no question we will be back. Have I said I’m shocked yet?! My kid went with Korean fried chicken and he puts this spot in his top 3 ever. Lots of veggie options and cooked options as well. I agree with another reviewer, please expand your wine list and add champagne. Some quality wines would make it perfect.

Absolutely amazing sushi, heaps of options, fresh ingredients with balanced flavours and tasty flavours! Service was friendly. Loved the ability to go half rolls to allow tasting of other options (however for the other Aussies visiting, when they say half rolls, that’s actually equivalent to slightly bigger than a full roll we’re used to! So be careful with your orders as they charge you for extra leftovers. Having said that, the staff were absolutely wonderful and charged me less than what they normally would because it was my first time and they also allowed takeaway for the leftovers which was my dinner the next day) clean toilets. Clean, modern, dim, ambiance.

Price guide:
All you can eat basic (option A) $34.95 100 mins

Tried these and can recommend all of them:
Caterpillar
Salmon lover
Dynamite roll
Japanese lasagna

Went during lunch for the ayce. Food came out at an orderly fashion and came plated well. Food was very good and the staff was helpful with ordering different kinds of sushi and informing what the sushi would be like. Overall great experience inside the restaurant was super dark and hard to see even with the sun out during lunch. But food was good ayce quality. 4.0 stars

Be sure to check out this place and remember—never miss the chance to visit it, where you can enjoy incredibly delicious sushi.
From the very beginning, we were welcomed with a cloud of smoke and guided to our table with an impressively professional attitude. It felt great to be treated not just as regular customers, but as true guests of the restaurant.
Our server Elise was extremely professional and attentive, helping us navigate the menu with care and providing service at a very high level.

As for the sushi itself—it was absolutely amazing. I only say that when the sushi is truly well-made and tasty. The price-to-quality ratio was pleasantly surprising.
Cleanliness is clearly a priority here, which we really appreciated. Both the dining area and the restroom (I only visited the men’s) were very clean.

So yes—we’ve been here ourselves, and we definitely recommend it to you too!

this was our first time at pier 50 sushi (folsom).. what a great addition to the folsom food scene!

AMBIANCE
when you first walk in, it’s got such a fun vibe — from the decor, to the music! fun art on the walls, neon lights, very very cool to see what they did with the space. also a great place to dine for customers of all ages; kids to adults!

SERVICE
we got there around 8:15pm, so we didn’t have much of a wait. Cody and Francis took great care of us; breaking down the menu and checking in on us at all the right times! the staff are all extremely kind and friendly; from the hostess to the food runners; excellent service all around!

FOOD
if you’ve never been, the staff will break down the menu for you. you can order “a la carte” or an all you can eat option, which is broken down into different options. the cheapest food option (of the 3) still has SO many options, so the price is pretty reasonable; especially for all you can eat! everything we had was delicious. everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. it all came out pretty quick after ordering — they’ve really got it down! the only thing we didn’t love was the something wrong #7. it felt a little mushy when eating; it needed another crunchy element or something to offset the texture. however, TONS of great options for even the pickiest of eaters, people with food allergies, diets, etc.! something to be mindful of, they do charge if you don’t finish your food. so order slow, and enjoy the experience!

PARKING
lots of parking on the street or in the large adjacent parking garages nearby. pro-tip, park far away if you’re doing all you can eat cause you will practically need to be rolled away after all the food you will enjoy

SEATING
while we didn’t sit outside they have a little dining area outside, that would be perfect for a cooler day/evening meal. lots of seating inside, but would recommend calling ahead for those busier times of day.

wish we could’ve tried more, but it’s the perfect excuse to come back for more! looking forward to our next experience at pier 50!

My husband and I visited this restaurant today. We were here about a year ago and were very impressed back then, the sushi was fresh, delicious, and the atmosphere was great. That’s why we decided to come back.

Unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. We ordered four different sushi sets and the Jalapeño Pops appetizer. The appetizer was described as jalapeños bombs, but what we got looked like a tuna patty with a tiny strip of jalapeño stuck to it with cream cheese. It was not appetizing at all and completely killed our appetite. Pls see my picture.

We still hoped the sushi would be good, but all four sets tasted almost the same — overloaded with imitation crab and some kind of avocado purée than fresh avocado. It seems that once a restaurant starts doing “All You Can Eat,” the quality drops quickly, as they try to cut costs and increase margins at the expense of taste.

The sushi we had a year ago and what we had today were two completely different experiences. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.
