Stopped on our way thru Alma. Welcoming nice staff. They were short staffed so it took awhile for our food to come, but it was great and worth the wait. I had eggs, pancakes and ham..the buttermilk pancakes were excellent and the ham was thick cut, juicy and tender. My husband had the Eagles Nest and said it was very good. We definitely would return on our next time thru!

This is the most cute cafe you could imagine. The view on the river is breathtaking. Good was delicious and the waitress was friendly and helpful in ordering. I ordered the ham omelet and a shortcake .

This place has seriously gone downhill. Go to Beth’s in Nelson if you’re actually hungry and want to eat. The service was non-existent. Had to go up to ask for a menu. Had to place order at register after not being acknowledged for 15 minutes. Had to ask the dirty dishes from previous customer be removed from our table about 20 minutes. Asked how much longer our order would be after 45 minutes and was told there were 5 orders ahead of ours yet and the place isn’t even that big! There were no apologies or concern expressed by wait staff. Saw other customers have to get up and find their own to-go boxes. Was a birthday tradition for several years for my dad and I to come here each June. You couldn’t pay me to go back!

Lots of potential here. Great location, nice Mom/Pop type place. Short staffed for a Saturday but that’s the norm post-Covid. Food wasn’t cooked – BF had an omelet which he said was tasty but was soft/runny on the inside. I ordered two over medium eggs with hashbrowns. The entire plate was clear egg white running into half fried hashbrowns and the yolks looked like they barely hit the griddle. Rye toast was delish but not much more to say.

I was on vacation in Alma and I visited Pier 4 three times. I had the biscuits and gravy twice. They were delicious!!! Then I had eggs over-easy, bacon and hashbrowns. Again delicious! Beautiful views. Love seeing the barges and the trains!!!

The breakfast was awesome !! 4 of us ate here and were treated like family. After asking about the model train that runs along the ceiling they powered it up very cool . Then the real train came by only feet just outside, it will definitely blow your mind! one of the best little restraunt’s I’ve ever visited

Small little place for good hearty breakfast. Mine was called super pile up which was various bbq and sausages, it was ok. My husband has pulled pork piled up, he doesn’t eat egg so the server offer him toast and jam which was excellent. His pulled pork was delicious. Definitely worth the drive

They have a gigantic breakfast menu. Along with the usual omelettes/bacon ‘n eggs/pancakes, they also have “pileups”, which are pretty much the contents of an omelette, plus hash browns, served in a big heap. I got the Spicy Mexican. Kept me going till mid-afternoon. Also, we had a fairly large party and didn’t all arrive at one time, but the server did a great job tolerating us and keeping us happy.

I waited 55 minutes for my food. Was told it was because a party of 13 were ahead of me. But even the 13 people in that party waited a long time, then were served one-by-one. The people who got their meals first were done eating before their friends at the same table even got their meals. I overheard the waitress tell them that they could only make two omelettes at a time.
