The closest you’ll get to genuine NY pizza in southern California
Delicious, crispy, great undercarriage, hardly flop. Workers were fast and professional. Will come back.

Probably one of my favorite pizza places of all time. It’s mainly a to go pizza spot for me but there are seats on site.
I ordered their mushroom slice, veggie slice and white slice. My favorite is the mushroom, followed by the veggie and then the white pizza. All three are solid picks with the perfect flavor and excellently baked crust.
I’ll definitely be back here again & when you eat a slice, go workout at Resistance Athletics next door!

A hole in the wall pizza place that offers some New York and Sicilian style pizza. They are just a window counter and mainly do takeout, but there are some seats available too. The pizza is good, nice and crispy base and super crunchy crust. Not the best pizza ever but gets the job done. Decent prices and friendly staff. Comes out hot and fresh.

We went there for coffee, and saw the small hole for pizza people were grabbing. My husband and I decided to give a try for Margarita and Warehouse which the guy recommended one of their the most popular to pair with our coffee. Funny combo to turn out surprisingly we found the pizza was so tasty. The topping is fresh and the crust is very crispy. After came back home a few days, we have been craving the pizza very much and too bad our area has been drizzling. We cannot wait to go back again after the sun is out. (:

Would eat their pizza here good amount of times. But would have weird reactions .
So not sure what is in their pizzas as most pizzas i have eaten never give such weird reactions!!
Anyways my relative told me stop eating pizza here. Plus think when asked if had parmesan cheese they said no. Hmmm.
Plus feel like they discriminate!!!
Anyways too bad ..if not for reactions i still would eat pizza even if they do discriminate!✌️✌️

Hold the bees please
Cute little spot but has to move from where I was planning on eating because there’s quite a few bees in the area. Pizza is over all thin and cut big slice. Good pizza and convenience to work, when I need to get away. Well priced too! Coke and pizza under $10, but kindly don’t forget to tip the chefs! ☀️

Grade B (85): I like the fact that you can get the pizza by the slice, it’s a bit expensive but tastes good, nothing special. The Margherita pizza was just a pizza regular cheese pizza with julienned Basil, not a very good interpretation of the cosign. You can sit and eat the pizza next door at the Coffee shop, you can even order the pizza from there! The coffee shop has a better selection of drinks though, next time I order the pizza and get the drinks from the coffee shop.

Right next to Jones coffee, there’s a little pizza shop called pie life. This place is counter service only with a couple outdoor seats. Slices are five dollars each. By the slice, their pizza is incredible extremely crispy. Ny style with a very pillowy crust – just how I like my pizzas. Their larger pies are good, but they don’t make it as good as the slice. I think if they made as much effort making each slice in the box crispy, then this place would easily be my favorite pizza place.
Pizza – 4/5
Service – 4/5
Atmosphere – 2/5
Total – 10/15

Pretty good pizza. Basically across the street from the Fillmore Gold Line station and just down the street from the Art Center campus. Only outdoor seating that faces the mountains in the distance though so kinda nice. Jones coffee is right next door as well.

I’ve searched far and wide and pie life is probably my favorite pizza in the LA area. The crust has a bit of crunch to it and the meatballs are fantastic. They’ve got a lunch special for two slices and a drink, and have some interesting rotating slices. It’s just a window with some benches outside. The parking lot can be a bit frustrating at times, but there’s always lots of street parking around. It’s right across from a gold line station.
