Really inconsistent pie. Dough recipe and ingredient quality took a nose-dive this past visit. Ordered an antipasto that was described as “chopped cured meats, fresh cheeses, and briny olives.” I recieved an assortment of rolled up deli meat served with lettuce and large cliché tomato wedges that my wife tasted and immediately spit out, warning me… not to eat the suspect meat. If it could iron out producing a steady pie Piccolo would be one of my favorite places in the area for NY style pizza. Pizza was over-sauced, missing the roasted garlic my family loved so much the first 4 times we got pizza here and had way too much chew to the crust. I used to recommend this place highly. I no longer can do that with confidence.

Pizza has great sauce to cheese ratio with tasty, quality ingredients. My family ordered trays of Chicken Francese recently, and we were so pleased to find out the pasta came sauced under the chicken. This is so much better than other places where the pasta has to be ordered separately and doesn’t come sauced. Everyone enjoyed it, and the flavor was fresh and bright with lemon. The salad was also excellent, but I think the pickles could be omitted. Excellent customer service every time!

Seriously great pizza! Major caveat though; their sides are awful. I’ve tried almost all of their sides with various take out orders. Garlic bread, cheesy garlic bread etc and all of them were REALLY bad.
Covered in garlic from a can. So much so that all you can taste is the strange taste of canned garlic. Just seriously caked on the bread. It’s annoying because their pizza is 5 stars every time. The crust is good the sauce is great and it’s honestly one of my favorite pizzas.
So I’m forced on minimum delivery orders to purchase a side along with my pizza and every time I regret it.
All that said: their pizza is GREAT. I’ve had family over and ordered their pizza. Everyone of my family members said how great the pizza was. And some of them are on the picky side so I call that a win! Just stay away from the sides.
I haven’t tried any of the other food on the menu so I can’t comment on their other items.

Pizza is not good. If your looking for authentic NYC pizza, look elsewhere. I haven’t found one spot in orange county, that has good pizza. I’ve been to them all.
Edit: Actually I ate at your place when it switched owners and you took over. So I ate at the old place and the new place. They both suck. You and every other place in orange county, should be ashamed of the pizza your putting out. It really is a shame, I have to drive over thirty minutes, to get a decent slice. People don’t have to take my word. All they have to do, is look at the pictures of your food. The pizza looks disgusting.

Ordered last night for the first time , fries were soaked in oil , like when you throw fries into the grease while the grease is still cold, just soaked up all the grease, but that pizza was amazing ! Absolutely loved it! Definitely ordering from here again.

Order was almost an hour late. Pizza was not great, tasted like cafeteria pizza from middle school. Was charged a 2 liter soda, never came with order. When I asked for them to bring the soda since I paid for it, the delivery woman gave it to my neighbor who then gave it to me!!! Extremely unprofessional and waste of money. I will never order from this establishment again.

I have to revise my former (read below) post. I used to love this place, but since aboit the time they changed their name to Amore, this place has been going downhill. The pies taste different and not for the better, and they delivered the wrong pizza. So sad.

I call them for delivery all the time and they’re great! Always on time and super nice people. The pizza is great, love their salads and their cheesecake! Always friendly on the phone. Just love these guys!!

I ordered a pie and it was great. The delivery person was nice. My cost was 16. Which I was okay with. She was so nice I even tipped her $4. Tonite I call to see what the min for delivery was, cause I was thinking about ordering a dinner, since the pie was delicious. The person who answered the phone asked “minimum? Like 25 or 35 It depends on what you’re getting”. It was like she didn’t understand what I was asking. So I told her I had ordered a pie and it was only &16. She said again, it depends on what you’re ordering Then she says, with a bit of an attitude, hold on I’ll check. I heard her ask, do we deliver spaghetti? She gets back on the phone and says “yea, we’ll deliver it”. I just told her to forget it. I have no time for attitudes nor confusion lol. Oh, I’m housesitting for 7 days, I was going to order my dinners from there. After that little conversation, I’ll go elsewhere.

My mother just grabbed a couple of slices from this establishment. The “deep dish” pizza is a frozen crust, literally a freakin frozen “bar pie” you can get from your local watering hole. At least my dogs ate good tonight
