I recently visited this establishment and had a disappointing experience at the bar. I ordered a cocktail and later discovered it was charged using the open liquor key for $40, despite containing only about three-quarters of a pour of tequila. The tequila retails for about $75 per bottle. There was no transparency about the price beforehand, which feels neither hospitable nor ethical—especially at a place that should value guest trust.
When I raised the concern, the head bartender responded in an unexpectedly pretentious manner, insisting the charge was appropriate rather than taking the time to understand the situation. I then messaged the concierge, Christina, who was surprisingly dismissive and rude when I asked about having the bill adjusted. The dining outlets were a low point for such a beautiful property. Food is much better at Palmetto Bluff.
Overall, the lack of transparency and professionalism left a really poor impression. Guests deserve clear pricing and respectful service—neither of which I experienced here.

Beautiful location. Disappointing everything else.
Limited menu.
Mediocre food.
Uneven service.
We were pushed Hard to order right away, then kind of ignored.
We had to ask multiple times for place settings and napkins for everyone. Not even salt and pepper on our table of 8.
The waiter could not correctly describe the only two steak options on their menu.
Food was generally overcooked and quite bland.
French Onion soup was the only thing that was really tasty.
Big bucks for a so so experience that left us disappointed.
