Laid-back bar & grill with patio seating option serving classic preparations of tacos & burritos.

I’ve been to Pica’s three times. Their classic burritos (which I have had twice) are tasty and offer a different blend of flavors than other Mexican restaurants. However, the prices are a bit expensive. A burrito will run you $18-20 without tip.
For my third visit, I ordered the chile rellenos. Unfortunately, the chiles were surprising small and the side of rice was not cooked all the way. The portion size for this was way too small to justify the $20 bill.

Visited this spot numerous times over the years. Food value is definitely slipping. Food is average. Portion size is ok. Many other options They seem to like ice and load up the marg glasses. Nice spot to sit and have a drink.

Some of my favorite mexican food in Boulder. Less than one bite of pork in a $13 bowl of soup. $20 burrito with a measly amount of meat (that was already a $3 add-on). Love the place, love the food, love the service, absolutely abysmal portions and pricing. Genuinely unfathomable

Pica’s is a good spot in East Boulder, with super friendly staff. The Pica house marg is really good (not too sweet). The food is OK, i found the pricing to be a bit high for the amount of rice compared to protein but the overall flavor is pretty good. Overall, excellent staff and decent food.

Food is reliably good here—not amazing, but always tasty. I especially like the Baja fish tacos and the beet tacos, but prices are too high. That’s the reason for my 3-star review instead of 4 stars. Hard to spend over $20 on a plate of two tacos, rice and beans when you add tax, let alone a tip (although it is counter service). Patio is nice in summer. Pica’s is in my neighborhood and I would come more often if the prices were more reasonable.

So I ended up trying this place again and I was very happy with my quesadilla and rice! The meal was very delicious and the staff made sure I enjoyed every aspect of my dining experience. The owner went above and beyond to show me that this restuarant can bring out some delicious foods !

Had the fish burrito. Nothing special. It just tasted pretty bland. I don’t know if I was supposed to order salsa or flavor. I think for a $16 burrito they could put some love into it.

Authentic tasting smothered burrito that was delicious as was the yummy and cold margarita!! Friendly service and clean place.
☺
I left full & very satisfied even though the prices were a little high for my budget.
It’s kind of a tucked away in the corner resteraunt & not the easiest to find but it’s nicer and bigger on the inside than one might think from the outside.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere while there too.

I enjoy this restaurant occasionally. It is nearby work.
The lunch burrito portions are large, which I prefer. I always order a wet burrito with salsa fresca. I very much enjoy the taste all the way through. Pretty much the perfect burrito in my opinion.
Prices are affordable. There is back patio outdoor seating as well as a small dining room. You order as you walk in and your order is delivered to your table with your number placard. This is a very convenient process, especially with so many employee split bills from work events.
Highly recommended!

Yummy food, cuter and bigger inside than the storefront would indicate. Also large patio. I got tacos and I was surprised to have them served with just meat and pico. No cabbage, lettuce, cilantro, cheese, etc which was especially surprising for the price. but they tasted good. My husband liked his burrito. The black beans and rice were delish.
