The atmosphere stood out right away, the space is bright, peaceful, and lets in a lot of natural light, which made it feel relaxing and comfortable for a sit down meal.

We ordered the steamed dumplings, crab rangoon, special Korean baby beef short ribs, chicken curry with vermicelli, and combination fried rice.

Everything came out nicely presented. The beef short ribs were especially flavorful and tender. The chicken curry was flavorful as well with a nice spice to it. However, we are not big on onions next time we’ll order them with without.

For drinks, we tried the classic milk tea (no boba) and a Thai tea (with boba). Both were smooth. However, I do recommend the classic milk tea if you are not big on sweetness, as the tai tea is overly sweet with the boba.

Service was friendly and the overall vibe was calm and welcoming.

It’s also worth noting that some of the concerns people mention about the floors or building wear should be viewed in context. This appears to be a leased space, that kind of upgrade is often outside normal operating control and doesn’t reflect how the food or service is handled.

Lastly: we noticed the shared utensil basket on the table. While convenient, some guests may feel more comfortable with individually wrapped or covered utensils for sanitation reassurance. With a few small adjustments there, the dining experience could feel even more polished.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit and the peaceful atmosphere, and we’d be open to coming back to try more items.

My daughter and I had Sunday lunch here, and we’re so glad we did. For an appetizer, we ordered the steamed dumplings—they were perfect. We were hungry, so we also ordered the shrimp bao buns. The shrimp was slightly overcooked but seasoned perfectly. I had the shrimp vermicelli, and the shrimp was even tastier than the ones in the bao buns. As shown in the picture, the portion was very generous. My daughter chose a stir-fried dish with chicken, shrimp, and vegetables served over thick rice noodles—the only thing left on her plate was a couple of carrots. We were too full for dessert but plan to try some on our next visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and my daughter enjoyed the robot waiter. The restaurant was clean, though the floors have seen better days, but overall, the place is in good shape. Our meal was less than $50, which makes this single mom very happy. We’ll definitely return to try the pho and dessert.

My wife and I recently visited Pho You in New Braunfels. Upon entering, the restaurant appeared somewhat run down. I needed to use the restroom shortly after arriving, and unfortunately, it was not well maintained. There was a noticeable urine odor, and the floors were visibly dirty, giving the impression that the area had not been cleaned recently.

When we were seated, the silverware was placed in a basket on the table; however, some of the utensils did not appear clean, which raised concerns about overall sanitation. The staff who greeted us were courteous and professional, which was appreciated. We were informed that the soda machine was not working, resulting in very limited drink options. This made it feel as though we were being steered toward ordering boba tea rather than having a variety of standard beverage choices.

We ordered an appetizer, which was acceptable, but for the price, the flavor and quality did not meet expectations. Our meals were delivered by a service robot, which was a unique and enjoyable touch. Unfortunately, the food itself was underwhelming. My wife ordered the chicken curry, and I ordered the wonton soup. Given the prices of $14 and $12, both dishes tasted as though they had been prepared earlier and left sitting before being served. The lack of freshness and depth of flavor was noticeable.

While this is not a restaurant I would actively discourage others from trying, it is not one my wife and I plan to revisit. The establishment has significant potential; however, improvements are needed in several areas, including routine cleanliness (particularly restrooms and dining areas), proper sanitation of tableware, expanded beverage availability, and overall food quality and freshness.

With attention to these details, Pho You could provide a much better dining experience.

We had a great dinner here, my husband ordered the Special Pho You beef broth pho and I got the chicken broth with dumplings and BBQ pork. Both were delicious!

Seems like they mostly do to-go orders, but we had a great experience sitting down in the restaurant. Would recommend!

It happened on New Year’s Eve: we fell in love with the outstanding food and service of this cool, little corner restaurant in big, red-hot Creekside. Excellent fresh spring rolls (one with shrimp, and one with grilled pork), steamed pork dumplings and combination pad thai. Everything was so fresh and homemade! Let me sing the praises of their savory sauces, included with each dish. Robotic server was a revelation to me, who thought I was so ancient that I’d seen it all. Y’all check it out soon. We’ll be back soon for the pho.

Our food was fantastic and our server was nice with a warm personality. We didn’t feel like we had to wait long for our food but it did seem as many other tables did. The prices are good and portions are generous. We thoroughly enjoyed the combination pad Thai and was one of the best we have had. Great location in the back of Creekside. Parking can be tricky but there is a full parking lot on the backside of the building in front of the apartment building. There is a robot that brings the food which was cute and unique. Many boba drink options also.
