Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Was craving some onion rings, so stopped for 2 shakes and a large order of o-rings. Worst ever. They were over fried. Had I noticed before I got home, I would’ve returned them and asked for my money back. I will give them credit for the shakes.

The managers absolutely do not care here. Reached out via surgery about an experience and they do not care.
The soda machines didn’t work during our visit and were not told so when we got home the drinks were disgusting.
The food was missing items, burnt, or flavorless.

Tried the Monterrey Melt double meat and it was pretty tasty. The Monterey Melt is a Whataburger sandwich with two beef patties, Monterey Jack and American cheese, peppers, onions, and jalapeño ranch. I’m not a big fan of burgers, but I have to say it was good.

I love whataburger, I grew up with only one and it was in Tempe Arizona and my Dad would drive us there from a town away. I don’t leave reviews for whataburger, because I would always rate them a 5 because it’s my go to burger 100% of the time. But when I go a month or more without, because I am older and I have to watch what I eat…it’s more of a treat for me now. It really upsets me to have a bad burger. I ordered a double cheese burger minus pickles and tomatoes, with extra onion. What I received and discovered upon returning home was two patties with cheese and the bun. It had no mustard, no lettuce, no onion. I can make a patty at home and slap it on the stove, I mean really? Very disappointed in this stores lazy cashier who attended to the order over the speaker in drive thru.

Look, I’ve been meaning to do this for a while. Since their 75th anniversary earlier this year to be exact. I’ve been hesitant because I am afraid I’ll jinx it ,BUT, this location should 1000% be the industry standard. The employees are so on top of their game in every aspect possible. Their location was a MAD HOUSE during the 75th anniversary event and they were so calm, cool, and collected amidst the chaos that day. Every time I have gone since then they still don’t drop the ball, I have been at this location at various times of the day & night & they make you feel so welcomed. The staff carries themselves in such a way you would never assume they were miserable lol I mean that in the highest form of flattery. The only thing I can ding is the atmosphere and I mean that purely because I don’t like the sterilized look many of these type of restaurants have adopted, that’s not the employee’s fault obviously.

My fries were kinda stale, my family’s burgers were cold they ordered the number 1 and a Whataburger junior for my little sis. Just doesn’t slap the same way a Whataburger should.

For August 8th approx 6pm the crew they had for a promotion for 0.75¢ Whataburger was great. The restaurant was hectic but I want to commend the young ladies and men handling the online orders, kitchen, and cashiers they were really working hard to get those orders out. Even with a bunch of frustrated costumers and a bunch of orders they managed to get the job done with a positive attitude.
