On the last day of Pho Song Huong, the bowls were still steaming, but the feeling was heavy.
Everything was 25% off, including beverages, yet nothing about this meal felt discounted. The pho soup base was beautifully prepared — clear, fragrant, deeply comforting — the kind of flavour that can only come from years of doing the same thing right, over and over again. Fresh basil leaves and bean sprouts were laid out generously, a small but telling gesture of care that never needed to be announced.
There is a special sadness in discovering a place only when it’s about to disappear. After more than 20 years of serving the community, Pho Song Huong quietly closes its doors, leaving behind memories, regulars, and countless bowls that once warmed tired bodies and busy lives.
Some restaurants shout for attention. Others simply show up every day and feed a neighbourhood. This was the latter — and those are the ones we miss the most.
We came too late, but we are grateful we came at all. Thank you for the comfort, the consistency, and the decades of quiet dedication. You will linger in memory, like the last sip of broth when the bowl is already empty.

This is not just my first time coming here, but also as the restaurant is unfortunately closing, it is my last. It’s a shame because this is one of the best pho places I have ever eaten at and even though it was our first time being there, the staff was so welcoming and friendly! The atmosphere gave off a “Our customers are family!” Vibe and personally, I love restaurants that do that! It just goes to show how great their food is gonna be and it’s such a shame that we just learnt about this place just as it’s about to close! We go to Warp 2 just down the road from here often, so that fact we missed out on this place for so long is so unfortunate! But I’m glad I got to at least eat there once and got the chance to see just how amazing of a place they are. Thank you to the staff at Pho Song for their amazing service, their amazing food, and best of luck in the future! Happy holidays everyone!

My go to place because it’s decent price and very good quality of foods they have. As well you don’t feel rushed to eat and service is excellent.

Great place. fair price. very good pho. best vegetarian spring rolls. try the spring rolls with a leaf of lettuce wrapped around it. also 3 bean drink is amazing. they offer free complimentary tea, great for digestion. other great dishes served as well. I go for the pho and vegetarian spring rolls every time. I have a motto…I say a bowl of pho once a week will keep the doctor away whoever is reading this. God bless you

Prices have gone up quite a bit over the last year or two, however food is still very good here. I love the 9a (Banh canh Gio Heo hot ga) and Spicy clams with rice noodles (bun hen) from this family owned restaurant. Their pho is historically also tasty.

End of an era. Pho Song Huong is closing today after 20 years. Thank you for feeding us, welcoming us, and giving me the chance to bring my mom for one final meal. We’ll miss you.

Been coming here for years, broth is consistent and flavourful for regular beef pho.$12 for a small bowl which was quite filling but they are skimping on the meat. Only had 2 small pieces of tendon in my number 23
Edit Nov 14, 2021:
Still tasty but the price has gone up yet quantity has really gone down. Got my usual 23 and had 1 piece of tendon cut in half, it’s one of my favourite things here so that was disappointing. Especially since this cheaping our inn the meat seems to be a trend from my recent visits. If there is barely any meat, a bowl of noodles does not seem worth the price. Springs rolls were freshly made though. Staff are nice

Ordered online. Worst vietnamese food ever! Cold pho! By far the WORST service in any restaurant I’ve experienced in the city. Brought us the wrong orders and gave us attitude when we tried to tell them. Came back with the right bowl of noodles that was ice cold. Asked to have a hot one, they zipped it in the microwave and brought it back. Each time we needed them, it was like pulling teeth to get their attention, and they had a terrible attitude like we were annoying them. It was by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in the city. I should mention the food was terrible too, which if you’re a fan of vietnamese food, you’d realize pretty much right away.
