I would have gave higher rankings except for the condition of the restrooms. There’s an old saying if the restrooms are clean the kitchen’s clean. Gave the restroom conditions an f see photos.
I love coming here alone, the environment is so peaceful and comforting, and everyone is genuinely kind. The waiter is always attentive, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.
The broth is incredible, so rich and flavorful that I usually don’t even feel the need to add anything extra (which says a lot). Honestly, I recommend all their food, but the pho is a must.
10/10 every single time.
Food: 10/10, we had calamari and pho (split 1 portion between 2 people). The calamari was perfect, not overcooked or rubbery, and the pho was refreshing and delicious. Just a love letter to beef (we got the beef and brisket). It came with all the expected toppings (basil, bean sprouts, lime, jalapeno). I had no complaints about portions or quality. I also had a That tea that was incredible, not overly sweet, but perfectly balanced.
Service: 10/10. My friend and I weren’t terribly hungry, so we asked for one pho, split between the two of us. They brought it out already split for us in two bowls. The food came out quickly and we weren’t bothered during the meal, which I love.
Bathrooms: 8/10, very interesting lighting (blue light in the front, purple and green in each stall), but I will say that I appreciate bathrooms that have fully enclosed stalls (top and bottom) and paper towels. Hard to say about the cleanliness because it was a little hard to see, but overall, it wasn’t bad, just odd.
Overall: I liked the ambience, there’s outdoor seating and a bar, and the pho was lovely. We came after watching a movie at the Harkins nearby, and then went to take a walk at the Arrowhead mall afterward; this was a great way to spend the day. It’s in a great location and I’m looking forward to trying every kind of pho they have.
