The beef served in hot plate was so good, it was juicy and tender, I never see this in Vietnamese restaurant and totally go beyond my expectations, lucky I listened to their recommendation to try this new dish.
I had rare beef and non-cooked bean sprouts for the beef pho, both are fresh and nice, the chilli helped the soup base taste better.

Went to Pho Chu The in Richmond for dinner with family — overall, a good experience. The food was fresh, tasty, and served in generous portions with high-quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the prices were reasonable. They did forget one of our orders (spring rolls), but it was fine — they brought it later and gave us a small discount for the mix-up.
Saving one star for next time when everything is perfect, but definitely worth a return visit!

I had the beef special pho. I thought it was a good value and the beef itself was quite good. Unfortunately I found the broth to be very watery (bland). It was disappointing. I honestly have not had such bland pho before.
Given all the rave reviews, maybe I just had bad luck, I don’t know.

First time here and I’m super impressed! The beef was insanely tender and the soup was so damn good I ordered the medium bowl and it was more than enough. The place was pretty busy, but totally worth it. Highly recommend!

My fave Vietnamese Pho in Melbourne. I’ve been to this shop for a long time since I settled in Richmond with the old owner. New owner took over and the quality of Pho noodle soup hasn’t changed. I really like their customer service because I go there frequently so they know my order every time I go, it’s a simple thing but I feel good that they know my order well. I like this pho noodle soup because I’m not thirsty after I eat their noodle soup. Some of pho noodle shops on Victoria street, I am very thirsty and I feel they use too much MSG.

I decided to try something new for pho, and I found this place to be pretty decent. I ordered a small bowl of rare beef pho for $16, plus extra chicken. The service was excellent; the staff member was very helpful in identifying the ingredients in various menu items.
The broth was a bit oily, although I only noticed this after reviewing the photo I took. The beef and chicken were both decent, but the pho was a little thinner than the thicker versions I’ve had before. Overall, it still tasted good, and the portion size for a small bowl was generous.
The positive aspect was that after eating these noodles, I wasn’t as thirsty, which is usually the case for me after consuming pho. (less msg?)

I go at least once or twice a week. Tried multiple different phos from their menu but my go to is definitely their special chicken pho. So fragrant and delicious with all the extra pieces of meat. Staff are super friendly , service is super quick and it’s just a great bowl of noodles no matter the weather.
