Ordered from here a few times. Last order was perfect. I phoned and placed my order for pick up after work. It was ready when I got there. Hot and not sitting under heat lamps. Friendly staff, and price is perfect. Not crazy expensive.

Twice this has happened in a few weeks. Getting over charged. Both times ive had to correct them. Now they work here and know the price. Im sure its intentional. Pizza was good but they want tips for carryout and tell you so. Now they try overcharge you and you have to correct them. When does extra cheese become 2 toppings. Wouldnt that be 1 extra topping. Get your shit together

Ownership must have changed. I know the owners had it for sale for a few years. The dough was very thick and undercooked … very gooey and it just seemed like a different recipe. The ground beef they are using comes from an extruder and looks like little worms. It’s not the regular ground beef that has always been used for as long as we have been buying pizza here. It just didn’t taste the same at all. They were both bland. We didn’t wait for delivery. We usually go pick it up so we can have it as hot as possible. It was very freshly made, but completely under cooked and pale.
We almost always order 2 large pizzas. One with pepperoni and ground beef, the other with pepperoni, ham, and bacon. We really liked the old Gino’s. It’s so sad to have to look for a different pizza place. I have to drop the 5 stars to only 1 unfortunately and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PIZZA ANYMORE!!!

Love the pizza. My daughter, her son, and my other daughter’s husband have worked at the balmoral street Gino’s in the past and got along great with the owners. They were always treated with respect. Have never had a problem with them or their food. They also have gluten-free pizza dough, which was awesome for my son (he’s gluten intolerant). Recommended to all my friends.

I walked in to order pizza from this location and was disappointed to see that staff were preparing food without wearing gloves. This raised concerns for me about hygiene and food safety. Cleanliness is very important when handling food, and I hope management addresses this to improve customer confidence.

They are rude. I called to order a pizza and the person just hung up the phone because he could not explain which store I could order from. I used to be a regular customer, bye-bye to Gino’s forever, Dominos Pizza just made a new client! And as for the owner asking who answered the phone, it was a male person who answered the phone at 21:05 hrs.

I have tried pizza here before it was good. so I want to tell my friends that i found this good pizza place but as always when you try to recommend something, it doesn’t go well. but this went ugly……
Super soggy burned bites felt like reheated in microwave. pizza crust were worst I had in my entire life and trust me i had many frozen pizzas but his felt different. and when i called store to give her review she started shouting at me. all that anger, loud voice and attitude didn’t went well with customer experience. and writing this review to say thanks for ruining my birthday. this store wont get any order from me or my 12 friends.

We always order vegetable pizza with our own choice of toppings (sundried tomatoes, spinach, red onion, mushroom, and extra cheese) must try! It was been always meeting our satisfaction. Take out! It is the best pizza place in Thunder Bay.
