This is a really popular spot, and be prepared to wait if you have more than 2 people. Once you arrive, you scan the QR code to be on the wait list (if you didn’t join the waitlist before you got there). For 3 people, we waited over an hour at peak dinner time because there’s less tables for 3-4 and people take their time.

Foodwise- for my first time, I didn’t feel like pho so it was a happy surprise they had a huge menu of Thai dishes as well. (Though I did try a bite of my friends pho and it was good! Really nice broth).

I ordered the chicken pad see yew which had a great amount of broccoli and chinese broccoli that were perfectly cooked and I enjoyed the flat noodles too. Next time I want to try the khao soi or green curry or kra pow

Great place! It’s a small spot, and you need to scan a QR code to reserve your table. We waited about 30 minutes, but it was totally worth it. The service was fast and friendly, and the portions were big and delicious. I ordered the fried pineapple rice. My husband ordered pho soup. highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our fine in experience. My husband is in a wheelchair and they helped with opening the doors as well as good seating so he would comfortable. Overall the food was great we got several different items on the menu to try out and each one was better than the next all in all with tip our bill came out to $89 and we took home some left overs as well

pho basil is my favorite pho spot in the city ! they are a bit pricey but food is worth the price. they have a large selection of drinks and deserts as well. the service is always warm but there is usually always a wait during peak times 15-20 minutes. the food is worth the wait ! i always get the chicken pho and thai iced tea.

Amazing cafe with super friendly service! They really pay attention to what you ask for (for example, we asked for our drinks to be less sweet, and they did it perfectly). The food is absolutely delicious.

We lived in Thailand for half a year, and I can honestly say this is one of the few places in USA where the food actually tastes like real Thai food.

10/10 would recommend. Everything we ordered had a great burst of flavor, let them know if your spice tolerance is low!

Large portions and a great broth, excellent staff and the food came quick. Probably one of my favorite phos I’ve had and the amount of meat they put in was excellent. Perfect for a date night.

Not very authentic, but pretty good.

Phở Đặc Biệt: Literally “Vietnamese rice noodle soup with beef combo”. Apparently the broth was somehow americanized to be overwhelmingly sweet instead of the perfect savory and umami. The beef contained various parts from meat to intestine, most of which had been braised to be super tender and soft that it almost fell apart when being touched by chopsticks, but what surprised me most was the bouncy and oily fragrant brisket fat. The rice noodle itself was also firm and resilient.

Vietnam Coffee: Just ordinary. You won’t need to drink a huge cup of iced coffee after being warmed by another huge cup of noodle soup.

p.s. It is interesting that “Đặc Biệt” in Vietnamese sounds similar to “special” in Cantonese “dak bit”. Maybe there are connections between these two words.

It’s a tight, cozy spot. The food there looked really good. We picked up our food. The staff was very friendly.

We got their drunken noodles with chicken and beef. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size! Flavors were on point as well.

Will come back.

It is located opposite to Berklee College of Music. You have to wait to be seated however the online queue is very efficient and much shorter waiting time than expected. The waiting time for food is also short and food is very authentic. I ordered fried Kyoza for starter and Po Vien (Vietnamese beef ball noodle soup) and Vietnamese ice coffee. The kyoza is just perfectly fried and juicy, the beef noodle soup is so authentic that I can not imagine it was in ten thousands miles away from Asia!
