By far, the best ribs I have ever tried. Really long wait but totally worth it.

Great good at good prices. Love the BBQ chicken sandwich, baby back ribs, and Beef Brisket. Sides are good and so are the wings. Good sized portions and a decent price. This place can get overrun on the weekend but it is worth the wait.

We were up from SC for a family visit and were given this as a recommended place to try. We loved the brisket, Mac n cheese, and corn muffins! As folks who know BBQ, we’d definitely come back when we’re in town. Keep up the great work, Phil and staff!

Went there for Fathers Fay 2015 mid afternoonish. Ordered a bunch of food with family and guests. The baby back ribs were not true baby back ribs but the larger type which I do not prefer or ordered. The ribs were tough, fatty and only luke warm. I sent it back only to be reheated some what but still coldish.

I have been here multiple times and the food has been delicious and the service very friendly every time. But, what used to be an inexpensive local BBQ place has now become overpriced. It would be nice if the restaurant was able to make the prices what they used to be before. However, price aside, it’s a fantastic restaurant.

My wife and i have been traveling around eastern PA looking for the best bbq. I read the reviews and it seemed good aside from a couple people who say briskets were like rubber and sauces were tasteless. I thought even the best places have “haters” and they promote previously being on food network and they won bbq awards. Needless to say i experienced what the “haters” experienced. Bad unfriendly service, briskets were 1/8 inch thin rubber tasteless strips. And the sauce actually took what little flavor the meat already had away. Meatloaf wasnt tastless, but the flavor it did have was gross and was dry like it was under a heatlamp for an hr. But they did have some killer fries. If i ever go back itll only be to takeout fries, which is a shame thing to say about a bbq restaurant. And prices were higher than other bbq restaurants that had better food.

I dance like Snoopy with his nose in the air for the fried pickles! This place is great! Philly places are double the price. Like the country western atmosphere! Can I have a shot of whiskey from up on the shelf?

I took my grown-up sons there for the first time for a Sunday lunch. Excellent food, we all enjoyed lunch. The service was friendly, and it feels like a place you grew up with, local charm, not like a chain.

Great food, great experience, lovely owners. Got the 3 meat, 2 side platter for $20 and it was excellent. Smoked meatloaf, brisket and pulled pork, potato casserole and cole slaw – delicious!! Support local businesses!

I was robbed by them at their clam bake. Paid $25.oo in advance for all you can eat clams, hamburgers, hotdogs & such. Event was advertised as starting at 1pm but no food was served until after 4:30. Clams were gone is less than 1 hour & no refunds were given. This is no way to run a business or to treat your local customers. I will never give Phil’s my business again.
