Had an amazing birthday dinner with my wife here. We had no reservations but was immediately seated. Our server was amazing the whole night, making sure our drinks (Pepsi and water) were topped off and updated us on our entrees. The appetizer bread was good and we added on the toasted ravioli which was pretty good and were huge. We both got the petit filet and I had an off menu creamy spinach side. They cooked both of our steaks perfectly! This is definitely the go to anniversary spot now! Nice to have found an hidden gem so close to us!

What a great filet! 1st time eating here but it won’t be the last. The salad was very fresh and the blue cheese dressing was very good. The creamed spinach was delicious. The filet was almost over cooked for my liking but it was still very tender and seasoned well. The Chocolate cake was good but was a little dry. I will definitely be back.

Went tonight for my 60th birthday. We had steak and shrimp cocktail. I asked for my steak to be medium done, it was closer to medium rare but it was really good. Atmosphere was very nice and laid back. The building is amazing. Not a huge menu of selection but it was a very good meal and experience. I’ve wanted to go here for over 35 years. Bone in ribeye steak was undercooked and heavily seasoned. My wife almost choked on the over peppered meat. Her green beans were also too peppery. I ordered the 8oz filet. It was also undercooked. The seasoning was not too bad. Service was excellent. Hard to believe the prices on average steaks. Almost $200 with no drinks. Don’t plan on returning. Disappointing for a Valentines Day meal.

Being completely honest it was not worth our bill of $450.00. Chicken was overcooked and dry. Risotto was cold. Fish was under done and plated with no garnishes except grease running on the plate. It was a below par presentation.at best. Scallops were cold. The one bright spot was our waitress. She was very nice and very on top of things making sure we always had what we needed.. I would say if you go here order the hamburger and the french fries those are the only good things on the menu. Dierbergs has a better tiramisu. You would expect a restaurant like this to do better.

Updating my review from 2 months ago (gave 4 stars on that visit). This time our meals were once again all delicious. Loved the carmelized brussel sprouts. Steak and lobster were perfectly prepared. But this time our server was wonderful, and the meal was perfectly paced. Great job back to front. Glad we returned and will do so again, likely soon!

Best old fashioned and margarita ever. Prices aren’t bad my only complaint is the menu is kind of small. And we didn’t get our croutons until after our salad . The house dressing is a Mayfair which is getting harder to find.

Petit Paree has been holding it down in Festus for over 60 years, and it’s easy to see why. Sure, people usually go for the steaks (not my thing), but there’s plenty to love even if you’re skipping the red meat.

Last time I went, I got the lobster Rangoon and the swordfish—and wow, both were incredible. Definitely #StLouispescatarianapproved The vibe inside is shabby chic French, and I usually grab a spot at the bar to eat and get a little work done. Always a good time.
