We celebrated my sister’s birthday at the rooftop and had such a fun night. The views were great, and the live salsa music was amazing, the band was great. The cocktails were delicious too.
Huge thank you to Nicky, the manager. She really made our night with her hospitality and how attentive she was, and thank you for the tequila shots for my sister’s birthday! Rolando, our server, was super nice as well.
Such a great staff all around. We’ll definitely be back.

Best rooftop venue in Sarasota. The cocktails are so good, especially those made with the locally owned tequila brand. Great food, awesome live music, and wonderful service. Definitely the place to go for a fun night out!

I can’t comment on the food as I never ate here. Drinks are good, service professional and quick. Atmosphere and ambience club like and dj could be hit or miss. Crowd here is mixed with all ages. Good times and always a Saturday night favorite when going to downtown Sarasota.

After reading some decent reviews about this rooftop pool and bar, we decided to check it out for ourselves.
The best part about this spot is the view from the rooftop during sunset in the evening. The bar overlooks the downtown streets, and watching the sun go down in the distance is quite nice.
The food, however, was not pleasant. The meat in our Kebab skewer trio was bland, and the meat was tough to chew. The drink prices were on the high end and tasted very “basic.” Nothing to write home about. The entire place was on the smaller end, and there wasn’t much to do if you weren’t swimming in the small pool or drinking alcohol. This place is basically for the view period.
Also, I didn’t like the fact that they closed my tab out when they switched shifts without telling me. They had already processed half my order and added their own gratuity without my consent to my credit card. I didn’t make a big deal about it, but I could see some of the other patrons experienced the same issue, and they were not happy about it.

The perspective rooftop pool bar at the Art Ovation hotel is a great place to get a yummy tropical drink or some delicious food as well as hang out with friends or solo and enjoy the views, sunshine and sunset. I ordered the fresh fruit bowl and it was delicious with a wide variety of tropical fruits. And the bartender is talented and friendly and gives great service. I highly recommend.

The Perspective Rooftop Pool Bar at the Art Ovation Hotel is great. The service is friendly and attentive. There are enough tables and umbrellas for shade. Great place to grab drinks before heading out to dinner.

I visited a couple years back to this rooftop bar. I ordered 1 drink. I left a cash tip and I wish I didn’t. One shady bartender who closed my bill added a $20 tip after we left. Didn’t noticed the bill a week later. Called the bank and never been back to this spot cause why would I. And the recent bad reviews says that they are still stuck with their shady ways. That’s why people need to read the bad reviews on every establishment they spend their money.
Took me while to write this review since I didn’t really care to remember the name of this place and I can’t remember where it was since it was nothing special other than the access to the pool. Also I’m not a local.

Beautiful location! Looking out over the water is so amazing! Our service was excellent at our table! They even gave us a water bowl for our little dog.
When we moved from table to bar, we had a fun,engaged, friendly bartender. His name was Guy. Great drinks, great atmosphere and staff!
