We absolutely LOVE the food here! The flavors of all of their dishes that we have tried have been amazingggggg!! Tender chicken and full of flavor! The appetizer was the only picture that I took because after the first bite , my knees were weak and I just devoured it! Their curry is the best I have ever eaten! The hot and spur soup was out of this world! The automated robot server was a fun touch and the host was friendly and helpful! This is for sure our favorite place for Indian food! 5 stars indeed!

Wow! The newly opened Persis on Cap Circle NE is even better than before!! They still have the BEST Gobi 65 I have ever had, crunchy, spicy and loaded with flavor! My husband had the Rasam Soup and Chicken Biryani…I had the Butter Chicken. All excellent. We’re so lucky to have such a great Indian restaurant on this side of town.

Genuinely my favorite Indian restaurant I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot. The food is perfect and the service is great. They also have super affordable lunch menu deals so I come for lunch almost once a week. I love chicken tikka masala sometimes I get the lamb too it’s great.

Most excellent! The food was outstanding! We had our regular dishes we always have on a first visit to a new-to-us restaurant. Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Khorma, naan, and our choice of beverage. The food quality was very good. The selection of beverages quite adequate for us. The atmosphere in the restaurant is somewhat lacking, but the most cheerful and helpful staff more than makes up for it.

I’ve been a fan of Persis for years, but I was blown away by the food after their move and reopening. It’s better than ever and absolutely worth a visit!
I got the Chicken Chettinad and not only was the sauce more flavorful than any other Chettinad that I have ever had, but the chicken was juicy, tender and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes are quite generous and there was plenty of protein in our meals. My husband got the Dum Ka lamb and it was creamy and flavorful.
For an appetizer we got the Chicken 66 Madras style and it was perfect. The chicken was tender, the breading crispy and it had a wonderful flavor.
The owner is so friendly and told us about how they use fresh tomatoes from Moultrie and other quality produce. You can really taste it in the food.

My wife, 3 year old and myself went for lunch today and it was absolutely incredible! The quality of food was already great at their previous location but now it is out of this world.
The balance of heat, sweet and savory is like no other place in town.
I am a huge fan of nawabi badami, and their’s is second to none.
My wife got chicken 65 and butter chicken to split with my daughter, and they made it mild enough for a toddler while still be delicious.
I can’t wait to come back again.

Went there yesterday and ordered the Mango Curry with Garlic Naan and it was quite possibly the most fantastic thing I’ve ever had. I’m already a fiend for mango but I admit I devoured the entire meal and was done before I knew it despite the portion being pretty large. The food came out relatively quickly too! Highly recommend to anybody.

On my way to Arizona I stopped for a quick bite and I was surprised to find this amazing place. Super delicious food cooked for my taste. The owner welcomes his customers with the most beautiful smile . Makes you feel special and appreciated.

If you haven’t been to the new location, I HIGHLY recommend taking the time to go. The food is superb…far better than ever, with great potion sizes to boot. The owner is incredibly friendly and made wonderful recommendations. Genuinely some of the best tasting Indian food I’ve ever had.

We have eaten in some amazing Indian restaurants in different cities and countries, and honestly, we have a GEM here in Tallahassee.
It has not gotten dulled down – it is so full of flavor and spices – even “mild” is full of intense flavor without the heat.
Though of course I recommend “medium” – perfect balance of heat that brings out the layered flavors.
We said we had a dairy allergy and they made everything dairy-free for us. So nice and accomodating.
And of course, if you eat in the restaurant, expect huge portions and robot cats – it’s an experience 🙂
Only thought is they could do a bit more with the decor inside the restaurant to have more ambience and atmosphere. But the amazing food makes up for any lack of decor!
Lastly, everyone is so nice!
