I went to Perry’s Steakhouse for lunch during Restaurant Week and it did not disappoint. I ordered their famous pork chop, the lobster bisque, and the white chocolate cheesecake — all for $60, which felt like a great value for the quality and portion sizes.

The pork chop is always the star. It’s perfectly seasoned, tender, and consistently delicious (there’s a reason it’s famous). The lobster bisque was rich and flavorful, and the white chocolate cheesecake was the perfect sweet finish — creamy and indulgent without being too heavy.

Our waitress was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without being overbearing. Service really makes a difference, and it elevated the whole experience.

I’ve been here many times, and the quality is always consistent. Pro tip: if you love their pork chop, Friday lunch is half price and absolutely worth it.

Highly recommend for a special lunch or a date spot with amazing food and great service.

We celebrated my daughter Christina’s 16th birthday at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in Vernon Hills, and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, warm, and elegant perfect for a special occasion. The food was incredibly delicious, and every dish was cooked to perfection. We were extremely pleased with the service and the entire experience.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time on Valentine’s Day for dinner and had such a wonderful experience! They offered a delicious prix fixe menu and every course was fantastic. We enjoyed the wedge salad, Caesar salad, filet mignon, lobster tail, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Everything was amazing, but the standout was definitely the lobster tail — especially the butter that came with it.
A huge part of what made the evening so special was our server, Jackie H. She was so kind and went above and beyond to make a slight modification to my meal after I shared that I’m pregnant, which we truly appreciated. We had an absolutely lovely time and look forward to coming back!

I had the opportunity to try Perry’s for the first time after hearing a lot of hype from people I know, but unfortunately it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The food overall wasn’t the best. The French onion soup looked and tasted very different from anything I’ve had before, and the presentation was disappointing. The shrimp and French fries were decent, but nothing memorable.

The atmosphere itself was nice, though very dark, which made it difficult to read the menu. One thing that stood out negatively was the service, our waiter repeatedly touched me while interacting, which made me uncomfortable. This was especially surprising, as I’ve never experienced that at other restaurants.

Overall, it feels like a place you might try once, but not somewhere I’d personally return to.

My husband and I went here to meet up with friends for the first time. OMG, this place is really amazing. It is very loud and we were sat in a high traffic area but it was full. The food is great but you must try the pork chops!!!! I’m not a pork chops fan but I had a few bites off my husbands and it was just delicious. It’s very pricey but the service and food was worth it to us.

Nice lighting and coziness but too crowded and it’s week day. You need your phone lighting to read menu. The chefs cooking was good and fast service. But very noisy and hard to hear conversations on tables.

First time visit. From the moment I entered Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille I was overwhelmed by the gracious welcome and service. Our server Laura was very patient, accommodating, knowledgeable and kind. The atmosphere was top notch very elegant, warm and welcoming. The food was amazing perfectly made perfectly served. Well worth the cost when you take all of my observations into account. Thank you for your hospitality and making my special day a special memory. I can’t wait to come back again and again.

We were initially hesitant to try Perry’s because of some older reviews. I’m glad we did. We’ve been there twice and each time the food and service have been incredible. We had well prepared buttery steaks, tasty fried shrimp, and creative desserts.

Let’s put it this way… If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Or maybe now, I have a higher benchmark for a 5 star review. Perry’s was EXCELLENT! Not only was every dish bursting with unique flavor, but the entire experience was exceptional.

The service:
I have never been to a place where the waiter was so polite. Every time he came to our table, he waited so as to not interrupt our conversations and apologized even so. There was absolutely no rush to flip our table. His attitude and demeanor were extremely positive. His knowledge of the menu was surprisingly informative and very helpful.

The food:
The Appetizers sides are shareable. Between both, we had the Spinach Artichoke Dip and Chips, Red Pepper Calamari, Loaded Whipped Potatoes, Mac-n-Cheese, Asparagus and Corn Brulee. The Artichoke dip was unique and delicious. The Calamari (only complaint) could have been a little crisper. But the pepper combination and kick was very good. The loaded Whipped potatoes were light and fluffy and full of flavor. The Corn Brulee will be our family Thanksgiving dinner menu if I can ever figure out how they make it! Again, just a little spicy hint to set it apart from other dishes. The steak… all 6 of us got a form of steak. My opinion: Best steak I have ever been served in a restaurant. Crusted nicely and served on a hot skillet, topped with their house made garlic butter, it was juicy, flavorful, and truly astounding. I can’t wait to try one of the higher tier custom blend wagyu cuts… another day because our entire party left stuffed!

The atmosphere:
We were in the enclosed outdoor heated area. Good choice for our group as we could converse easier. The bar seating area would have been too loud for us. The ambiance was wonderful with the multiple fire places. Despite the overhead radiant heater, we did have a few members get a little chilly because of the draft. We all agreed that the choice of dinner here was the right idea and never to be regretted!!
