Mouth watering, succulent, cooked to perfection burger. I cannot express to you how you are not checking out this dive and dine. Eloquently placed in the lower Eastside, Nancy Pelosi should run and try. This stuff, the staff, is dapper, I can’t explain. From the hot sauce, the truffle fries, all is not in vein. I do ordain to visit so glad, this Brindle Burger was the juiciest pleasure I ever had.

The burger was fine, but definitely not the best not in the world, not in New York, and probably not even in the neighborhood. The burger was served rare, which isn’t my favorite doneness. I assumed they had their standard as no one asked me how I wanted it cooked. Now I a bit regret saying it was fine instead of sharing my honest opinion to the staff.

Burger was good, above average but not the best. The problem was how filthy and rundown the interior is. We sat in a booth, a the little wall ledge next to booth had a heavy layer of grease and dust. I ran my napkin over a few inches of the ledge- see napkin pic. It was almost hard to sit inside because the was so many flies, they were hard to ignore. Windows were filthy and pile of junk by bathroom. I’m surprised for a place that seems to be well liked it’s not taken care of- dirty is just unacceptable.

Not enough good things can be said about this east village institution. Brindle Room’s menu is kept simple because when you do a burger so right, why do anything else. I’m salivating once again just thinking of it.

Perfect burger-we all enjoyed our burgers simply prepared with American cheese and grilled onions on a soft burger roll. The french fries are hand cut and fried perfectly crispy. Each of us ordered our burgers at different temperatures and each came out perfectly cooked with charred edges and soft middles. We also had the lentil appetizer which was perfectly spiced, served warm with garlic toast. Just a great burger joint!

Went there today, a Tuesday afternoon. Literally the only duo in the restaurant but that did not take away from the experience. Service was friendly without being intrusive. The menu is brief and to the point. The food came out exactly as ordered. And wow! What a burger! Fancy without being bougie, well put together without being sloppy, ingredients and preparation clearly show that whomever designed/made this knows what they’re doing and as importantly cares about what they’re doing. Fries are spot on. Crunchy without being dry and salted to perfection. Do yourself a favor and go here!
