First time here. Food was delicious! Fast and friendly service! We had a party of 14 and were well taken care of!!! Best Crawfish Etouffee I’ve ever had from a restaurant!!!

Small place, great atmosphere, and the food was amazing. We started with boudin balls then my wife had a pound of crawfish while I ate the shrimp po boy. We topped it off with beignets and chocolate sauce. Everything was amazing and the place is clean!

Came in from Houston not that great. No beer for sale rice bland gumbo also tasted like flour mixed with water not the flavor I was expecting. Order took long to prepare this is why I thought it was going to be great. Now I will say the hush puppies were good.

My wife and I shared the large catfish platter. We loved it! There was so much food that I took a togo tray home. It’s now 11:30pm, and I am trying my best not to go in the kitchen and eat the rest… our server was the best! And our bill was only $24 and a few cents! We love eating at the Crazy Cajun

A little out of the way but worth the drive! Nothing fancy but the food and prices are not to be missed. Crayfish looked excellent but I choose three meat plate with boudin, stuff craps and grilled shrimp. Gumbo also looked good but I wasn’t that hungry.

I have eaten at this location every visit I make to central Louisiana and it never fails to deliver. I mainly have the boiled crawfish but have had the gumbo to and think it is great. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. Ema I think was my waitress the first to two nights I ate there and I don’t remember the guys name that waited on me the second night with my family. While they do not serve beer, if you have some in a cup it is not an issue. My cousin told me there was better crawfish at a place in Alexandria so I tried them my first night in town and well they did not hold a candle to this place. Thanks Crazy Cajun for such great food and service.

The employees are what make this place amazing! The prices are reasonable and the food is great! If there’s an issue with your order, they fix it without any fuss, even if it’s not their fault.

Turns out I’ve never had truly good catfish before! Until today I’ve never really liked fried catfish, dense, muddy tasting, sometimes mushy…. This is not at all the case here. The fried catfish is light & airy with a satisfyingly crunchy shell – excellent flavor in the breading.
