My husband and I were shopping in Pierre. Stopped in for lunch. Th3 burgers were delicious. My fries were warm, but not hot. Our server only checked on us once. Gave us extra napkins after we was done eating. I wanted a piece of lemon meringue pie. So as I was paying I asked for one to go. I was extremely disappointed. As a baker also when I opened the container I should’ve turned back around to get my money back. Obviously the meringue was uncooked and barely any crust. We drove over an hour to shop in Pierre. I can say I won’t be getting any lemon meringue pie there again.

Didn’t get to try the food because we were tired of waiting. The waitress said she would be back for our drink order but after 20-30 minutes the guy running the register came by and said he would get us after this other table. He got their order, checked someone out and then went to the back. After that we just left. There were only 4 other tables with people seated. It wasn’t busy at all. The service is horrible and I don’t know how this place is in business at this location

Came in late just a few minutes before closing. Had been driving all day and had two hungry grandkids. We were met and treated kindly even though closing time was near. Our server didn’t rush us or act hasty but have great service and we were leaving just after closing time. Great service is easy at the beginning and middle of a shift, but for some they can finish the course! Thanks for great hospitality to a tired, hungry and traveling family!

Took a while for someone to recognize that we had just entered the restaurant and would like to be seated. Server did a good job after that. Had strawberry crepes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Crepes were good, bacon was cooked well, but were very small, almost microscopic! Scrambled eggs were overcooked, dry, and tasteless.

I stopped in Sunday morning @9am on the 25th of June. I was greeted & seated rite away. Fast service and hot food. I mean the first time my server brought my food it was HOT and tasted GOOD! I appreciate that I wasn’t served cold or warm food. And my server was very good as well. You know like how things used to be. I didn’t have to send my food back to have it (nuked) in a microwave. Glad I stopped in for breakfast… Today you never know what your going to get when you go out to eat. 90% of the time I wished I would of stayed home and cooked my own food. You all know what I mean. Perkins in Pierre South Dakota, AWSOME. 5 out of 5 stars and two thumbs up .

We walked in and it took 15 minutes for someone to great us at the door. After we sat down it took another 20 minutes for someone to take a drink order but they went to every other table at least 3 times. Terrible service don’t bother to show up.
