My daughter and I stopped in Hudson at Perkins for breakfast on our way home from the Taylor Swift concert. It was Sunday morning and Perkins was pretty busy but we were seated right away, and our beverage order was taken by the host and delivered by our server.

Walked in with my daughter and waited at the Please Wait to Be Seated sign for 4 minutes before a person even came out. After we were seated they brought out our beverages (no straws) and then we waited another 10+ minutes for a waitress. Finally got our orders in and about 5 minutes later the waitress (who looked exhausted) brought over silverware bundles wrapped in a dirty napkin. While we waited another 20 minutes for our food, we watched 3 people wait at the register for about 5 minutes for someone to come run their card. We also saw another order get sent back to the kitchen for some reason. Combine this with the number of flies buzzing over our heads, and I would say it is unlikely I would ever set foot in here again. We still haven’t gotten our food as I write this review. Wait, here it comes. Well half of it. The other half was someone else’s order. The side of fries sure has shrunk since my last time at a Perkins.

My son and I stopped in to get dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was very sweet and we received our food quickly. And the food was very tasty. I would definitely stop here again.

The food was cold, which didn’t matter for our kids but as adults, you hope for hot food. A big more concerning is the food came out decently fast, so if it wasn’t hot, was it sitting somewhere waiting to be ordered? Otherwise the service was great and it was clean enough.

Food was nice. It was well prepared. KAY was out waitress. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY SWEET! I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to get the white gravy yet she waited there and sure that I could try it to decide whether I liked it or not. Not only she was also helpful but also she made sure that we were well served. Thank you Kay!

The waitress we had was really nice. When we went to leave I asked another employee that when he was done taking items to someones table, if I could talk with him. He snapped that he was to busy to come back, what do you want. I told him of a problem and he said fine and walked away. Glad he wasn’t our waiter.

The pancakes ewere yummy, but the soda fountain coke was icky. I switched to water and lemon and it was fresh lemon and that was a nice surprise. I ordered crisp bacon and I got perfectly crisp bacon along with crispy tator tots. I did not like how we had to ask for extra napkins as there were no napkins at the table in the first place other than wrapped around the silverware. I thought that would be common since to give extra napkins to a table that was eating breakfast and had syrup all over our plates and mouths. Overall it was a tad bit expensive than I thought it was foing ro be for three people. Plus the quality of the food was mediocre. However there is always room for improvement in the guest service industry.

We Selected Perkins Restaurant for our breakfast. The service was outstanding and the waitress was exceptional. In Raleigh NC, that was the place to hit post clubbing in my younger years and great for brunch. Nothings changed in quality and quantity.
