Mahi sandwich was good, although slightly burnt. Coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had. My husband’s salmon was great, good sauce.
Service was great and I loved the music they played. It was not too loud but loud enough.
Overall a great experience.

The most incredible catfish I’ve ever had in my life. The service was great and fast, the options were plentiful, but the catfish was genuinely amazing. Wishing we were local so I could eat it everyday. Came here for our valentines date and it did not disappoint.

Great locals pub & grub establishment. I’ve enjoyed several previous visits. The staff is terrific. Very friendly and attentive. Bartender Sarah is particularly adept and delightful, and with a great sense of humor, too. The food is fresh and put together with great attention and care. They bake deserts and more in house that look beautiful. I was really tempted by the carrot cake cupcakes, but too full to eat one this trip. Do yourself a favor if nearby and hungry or thirsty. Lots of good choices here.

We had phenomenal service (by Carter) as he tended to all our needs. Food was delicious!
Thanks for honoring the military! We will be back!

1st time visit. There were 4 adults and 2 children. One in high chair. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and although a short wait, we got a nice table near the front of the restaurant. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. My wife and I split a salmon (blackened) croissant sandwich with curly fries. It was ample food as we had eaten about 3½ hours earlier and weren’t starving.
Overall, we were pleased and thought the pricing was good.
We will be back in the future.
I’d recommend.

Always a good sign when you see the locals coming in. Our waitress was friendly and suggested the spicy chicken sandwich and it was the perfect kind of spice we like. The Reuben was thick as well as the French dip. Steak fires worth the extra charge. Oh and the batter on the cheese sticks. Yes please! After a long day getting our granddaughter ready for college this was what we needed. Can’t wait to come back

Random find on Yelp and Google. Excellent mean with a ton of food on the plate. First off — some of the best mashed potatoes and the mac n cheese was next level. Fantastic!
I went with meatloaf. Two large slices that are served with parm crusted and parm flakes on top. Excellent! My only suggestion, maybe add some gravy to top it off. My wife ordered the sirloin steak dinner. She ordered rare and they knocked it out of the park. Excellent. The onion rings are very good, I almost ordered a side of them.
Speaking of appz, the Okra Fries are unique and actually pretty darn good. The French Onion Soup was okay, about average. Served a little cold and not very much flavor, oh well, win some lose some…….

Pepper’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Boone. It has a dining room on one side and a bar on the other, offering two different atmospheres. This family-friendly restaurant offers a wide variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, and mains. My personal favorite is the reuben sandwich and the potato salad (it’s the southern kind with sweet relish and mustard!).
It might be good to call ahead to see if there is a wait as it can get pretty busy during the lunch hour and on the weekends. I’ve eaten here with everyone from infants to elderly and everyone can find something to eat. The staff has always been wonderful and the space has a warm, homey vibe. If you’re visiting from out of town, I highly recommend you stop in to get a taste of the High Country!
Attention dog lovers: Pepper’s also has a dog-friendly patio and a dedicated puppers menu! They also have happy hour everyday with weekly specials.

Good food for lunch. We had the Shrimp Basket , French Onion soup, and half reuben sandwich. Shrimp and onion soup were great. Ruben was not very hot and a little bland.
