Peppers has been great since it recently reopened several years after Hurricane Ida. I’ve been coming here pretty frequently over the last few weeks. Pizza is great, not too greasy and reasonably priced. If looking for a good, local pizza, this is THE place!

Small but interesting selection of craft beers. Friendly service.
An EXCELLENT pizza, 1/2 Margherita, 1/2 pepperoni w jalapeños on a tasty cauliflower crust. Really enjoyed the low-key ambience on a Saturday afternoon.

First and last time visiting this restaurant. We went here because my girlfriend said it was really good and such an awesome place (I’m from out of town). We showed up between 12 and 1230 Saturday morning after being at her families all night. We wanted to have a couple drinks and eat some good pizza. After showing up, we sampled some beers they had on draft. The first glass of beer we sampled had a hair in it. We shrugged it off and didn’t make a deal about it because we aren’t that complicated and got a new glass to sample. The next beer I tried had some clumps of something that I wasn’t sure what it was floating around in the bottom of the glass. I told the cashier and she didn’t seem to care. I figured she would at least notify the manager so that they can clean the taps. We shrugged this off as well and just settled for bottled beer. We told the lady that we wanted a fresh pepperoni pizza even though there was an old one in the heater. We didn’t want old pizza, especially considering it costs like $7-8 more for some reason if it is in the heater compared to getting a fresh pizza a lot cheaper. The manager came up after we ordered and tried to get us to just take the pizza in the heater. I declined and told him I wanted fresh pizza and not old pizza. He seemed aggravated and walked back to the kitchen. After getting our pizza and eating, I drank my bottle of beer. I went back up to the register to get another bottle and was told that the manager told them not to sell any more alcohol. We literally came here to drink beer and eat pizza. It wasn’t even close to time to stop selling alcohol. I went back to my seat and finished eating. While we were finishing eating, they began closing the restaurant. They started turning off all the lights around the place and cleaning up everything. I found this very rude and unprofessional. We felt rushed so we cleaned up our mess and left. The manager is very unprofessional in personality and appearance. This was not a good first visit for me. The pizza wasn’t really as good as my girlfriend tried to make it out to be, either. There was spots all over that was missing cheese. I don’t believe I’ll be going back to this place.

Extremely slow service. Restaurant was less than half full and we waited for just over 1 hour to get our food. Too long for pizza, calzone and chicken wings. Couple of us also had empty drink glasses for a while.
The food was a bit better than average and the restaurant was pretty clean and looked good

We ordered each a small pizzas with different toppings, but the waitress only brought one pizza. Not sure why she misunderstand and only got half of our order, but she was nice. We just decided to share because it was late.
