Been coming here since I was a kid. Never had the white chicken enchiladas until recently and I must say they have the best white sauce I’ve ever had! Definitely a must try if you’re ever at the Santa Maria Airport. The staff is really helpful as well.

Everyone really liked the food that we ordered and portions are big. This place is pretty busy but the staff seemed to do very comfortable working in sync so as a customer the service was excellent!

This place is my favorite. Food is great, servers know you by name, cool spot to watch planes landing and taking off. Definitely try the fried ice cream…

Located in the Santa Maria Airport, this is a neat Mexican restaurant that does buffets on Wednesdays. They have a big menu of all the typical Mexican foods expected. The portions are huge and the prices are decent. The quesdilla was fantastic and the shrimp enchiladas were also really good. The shrimp tacos were a little underwhelming as all they had was just shrimp and tortilla, nothing else. Overall though, enjoyed our food. The staff was kind and prompt as well.

There were four of us. We all elected to have their buffet which now is $20. a person. The taste was good. Being a restaurant that specializes in Mexican cuisine there isn’t a large selection. The floutas ( no sure I have it spelled correctly) were just room temperature.

Great food. Every plate was enough for two people. Definitely recommend. Even with the large party. The staff was pleasant and would highly recommend.

⭐️ 1-star review

My wife and I decided to try this place for the first time. When we arrived, they told us about the buffet, which I decided to try, while my wife ordered a combo plate.

About halfway through my first plate from the buffet, I bit into two small bone pieces hidden in the shredded chicken. It was painful and surprising—especially for a buffet where you’d expect boneless, ready-to-serve dishes. I mentioned it to our server (who was polite) and explained I wouldn’t be going back for seconds because I was pretty upset. I also pointed out that finding bones like this could be dangerous if a child choked on one.

The server spoke to an older gentleman who seemed to be the owner, and they offered 25% off the buffet price. No one asked if I wanted something else instead, offered to replace the plate, or considered comping the meal I barely ate. They just brought the discounted bill and walked away.

We didn’t raise our voices or cause a scene, but the response felt dismissive and disrespectful. We won’t be returning. I’d consider changing this review if they offered a real apology and comped our meal—it’s the least they could do after such a poor experience.

The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that the menu has not changed in the 20 something years I’ve eaten here. I was hoping to get birria tacos while in Santa maria visiting. And that’s a really popular food item literally everywhere right now so you’d think they’d hop on the trend. But the tamales i ended up getting were delicious and not dry like some other restaurants I’ve eaten at. And the prices are good.
