Homemade Mexican food, worth the drive every single time! My family and I miss them all winter and are always so excited when they open in the spring!! I literally tell everyone I know about it, if you haven’t been out here you have to come!

Keep in mind they do not accept check or card so you need to bring cash with you!

Some of the best Mexican food around. Reasonable prices for the huge amount of food you receive. A clean establishment with great service. A must if you enjoy great Spanish food that makes your mouth water for more.

One of my absolute favorite places to eat. Their menu is consistently excellent and every item tastes incredible. My personal favorite is the Tzincronizada and my family members all love the Tortas.

The restaurant is called Lonchería “El 20” and is owned and operated by Maria López, not Penny, Maria’s husband.
I’ve witnessed this woman get up at 4am every morning to make everything from scratch: tortillas, rice, beans, her daily specials, salsa… everything.
The López family has been living in the Norland area since the 1980s, so the local farmers and their families know them well. The location of the restaurant is just as convenient now as when it was formerly the Oasis Cafe. We used to shop at the Oasis Cafe during my childhood years. Having a place out in Norland for farmers, their families, and farm workers who have been working all day to rest, eat, and escape the heat, cold, wind or rain—it truly does feel like one enters an oasis.
This restaurant has been Maria’s labour of love since 1998. She has set a hard-working example to her children and her family with her establishment. Places that have the cuisine, the authenticity, and the family atmosphere like Lonchería “El 20” are hard to come by. If you stop by, go out of your way to say “hello” and “thank you” to Maria. It’ll mean a lot to her.

The best home made Mexican food you can get in the minidoka area. Don’t sleep on pennies. Her home made bread and tortillas will have you dying.

Good service, but the food isn’t that great and it is way out of the way for the normal person. Highly recommend visiting Evie’s across the street for a much better experience all arround.
