I had a great experience. I have been seated both upstairs and on the main floor. I love that they have 2 floors. The food a good and the drinks are very well crafted. They have the best buffalo chicken wrap i have had around Connecticut. It is small, so if you are starving I would suggest ordering an appetizer.

Pleasantly surprised! Hubby said he would definitely come back for that burger. I had polenta with grilled vegetable melt. Delicious. Booths were perfect size- not squished in. A must to try.

A wonderful experience and thrilled we returned to Penny Lane Pub. We met friends who have never been to Penny Lane Pub and they had an equally enjoyable experience. The drinks were creative with a combination of flavors that We really enjoyed. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. The service was superb. All the food from appetizers to entrees were outstanding. We will return again soon with enough time to visit the local shops on Main Street. Thank you to the bartender for all the great conversations and sharing his wealth of knowledge about how different flavors in a cocktail can bring a different experience to it. We highly recommend Penny Lane Pub!

The food was amazing and the drinks were unique and flavorful. However our waitress seemed distant and overwhelmed. She was pleasant but all over the place. We ordered the half rack of ribs entree and Shepard’s pie entree and bread pudding and 3 cocktails the rib meal was $21 when we got our bill it said $31 for the ribs. We told our waitress who said well you said ribs so I put down a whole rack. We told her that he pointed to the rib meal and even showed her it was $21 and there was no option on the menu for a whole rack. She said OK but your going to take the rest home right but you don’t want to pay for the whole rack? So he put the box on the table and said you can have it back and she said let me see what i can do. Comes back and offers a solution of taking one of the cocktails off. So that was good then when she comes back with the new check it had someone else’s credit card in it we didn’t even give her our card yet. That was so scary. The issues had gotten resolved but that was one of the worst wait staff experiences I have had. I would come back for the food but please train your staff. Thank you. I would give 5 Stars for food and everything else!

Atmosphere and service were good, but the waitress talked up the burgers but delivered a total disappointment. Just tasted like burnt char and the other toppings weren’t flavorful. (Honestly I’ve had better burgers at fast food joints for half the price.)

Great time and a great end to the Girls Weekend. Everyone’s food was on point…… And the Bloody Mary’s were superb. Wouldn’t be a trip to Old Saybrook without stopping into Penny Lane Pub ❤️
