The worst food and service I have ever had!! The fries are gross tomato on outside of the sub. The Ruben we ordered had no thousand island on it! The worse ever!! I’ll pay for gas to go to Bloomington Penn Station I know the food and service is awesome!

Zero stars was not an option. Save your money and time. Wow, this location has many issues. It took 18 min to get our food (2 sandwiches and fries). The sandwiches were subpar and seemed to lack enough ingredients, and the fries were burnt. One employee was very rude. She was cleaning the back half of the restaurant and told us we couldn’t use the bathroom. Paying customers who are waiting on their food. This was unacceptable. After we got our food, we were dining in, they turned the back lights off and all 3 employees walked out and sat on the sidewalk outside the store played on their phones and left us dining in the store by ourselves. To me this is also unacceptable, and unsafe for the establishment. If a restaurant states it’s hours are till 9:30 (as stated on the hours printed on the door and the website), why would you turn lights off, close a section, and tell someone they can’t use the restroom before 8PM? I made several attempts to reach out to owner with no response to top it off. Even called corporate and left a message. We could’ve eaten at a sit-down restaurant for the $40 I paid.

The service was slow, which I’m not complaining about in any way, because I know a lot of places are short handed, but just letting you know about the wait time. I’m understanding on that point. Server at the counter could have been a little friendlier, she seemed like she didn’t want to be there, even though they had just opened! Sandwiches were delicious, fries were a little overcooked. Pop from the machine was totally flat and disgusting!

I specifically ordered a vegetarian sub. I asked for lots of grilled mushrooms lots of bell pepper. And grilled onions. My sandwich came and the bread was small and thin. I’ve never had such a small sandwich from any other pen station. There were barely any mushrooms or bell peppers. When I requested they get me more they acted annoyed but reluctantly did so.
When I dumped the mushrooms on several pieces of ham fell onto my sub. I HAVE A PORK ALLERGY. This is basic cross contamination that should not be happening… if they can’t even fallow the basic cooking guidelines how can they keep the place clean and safe from covid.
On the covid note they had a sign that stated I needed to request a new cup for each refill of soda I got 3 total the first one they gave happily. When I asked for another one they snapped back “we all ready gave you one free refill”….
I also asked for no salt on my fries guess who got salty fries.

Worst sandwiches! Waited 20 minutes for 3 cold cut sandwiches that ended up not being cold cuts. Took 2 bites and threw the rest out. So did my 2 kids with theirs. Spent $50 to still be hungry.

Food and service were great. The restaurant was clean. The main problem is that it is way too expensive. I won’t be going back despite the restaurant being good with good service. I just can’t afford to eat there and I doubt they can sustain their business model at the prices they charge. We got two small sandwiches, one regular size cheese bread, and a large fry. $30
We didn’t get any drinks. In 2010 this would be around $16 which is reasonable. Good luck to the Penn station company. Hope you guys can stay afloat.

$48 for 3 small sandwiches, 3 small soft drinks and 1 large fry. Took almost 20 minutes and we were the only customers other than a guy who came in after us and spent the whole time hanging over the counter socializing with the guy cooking. Then got his food before us. To top it off, out $7 fry was cold. Far from fresh. No ice in ice dispenser of drink station. Like most of the dining establishments in Bedford….overpriced and generally sucks.

Was going to stop in to grab a sub. They are good in my territory, Texas. But after reading the reviews, me thinks I’ll grab something somewhere else. Saw one response from MGMT, it it was not local and didn’t address the issue, just wanted more info. Same issues for years, filthy tables, food not Prepared properly. Don’t need that in this town.
