Food was delicious. Service was odd. We got appetizer and husband’s dinner at the same time. When he was almost done I got up and asked our waitress if I could at least get my salad. A few minutes later I got my chicken teriyaki with the salad bowl tilted on the side, and my husband asked about his salad. By the time I finished my salad, realized I had no knife to cut the chicken breast, flagged a server to request one, and actually received it, the chicken was cold — still delicious, but cold. Waitress asked the neighboring table multiple times if they needed water, if everything was good, if they needed boxes … But she didn’t speak to us until she brought our check. Never had an experience quite like it. The food is so good that I really hope they work out the kinks.

So excited about the new location. My mom and I went because she’d never really tried sushi or hibachi. I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi and she ordered the shrimp and chicken hibachi and then we tried the crab rangoon, tornado roll, Boston roll, and yummy roll to share. The food was all amazing and very reasonably priced for what you get.

I tried Peniku when it was a take out only place and it was dry and overcooked. Wanted to try it again with their re opening as a sit down restaurant. We waited over 30 minutes for dry, overcooked food. The yum yum sauce was good, but I wish the food was better and larger portions. Staff is friendly and location is clean.
