Let’s get into it. This is a family owned restaurant. There are items that are quick to get out. So don’t get mad if you see a taco plate given to someone before your food which may be a chicken fried steak dinner. Some just want drinks, I don’t wait in line for a drink with others who called in and placed an order. I recommend going in… you will be in and out in less than 2-3 mins. Sweet tea is self serve so you can take your time to add lemons or sweetener to it. You order at the counter (like DQ ect) and seat yourself, easy peasy. Yall stay blessed see yall in the next review.

The worst part about coming here is trying to figure out what to eat. They have a wide menu, and everything is delicious.
The enchiladas are big, and the meat sauce is devine. The cheesesteaks are probably the best I’ve had in Texas. The rice and beans, the onion rings, the fries are all worth a review on their own. Mach’s is a cornerstone of Wharton County, and for good reason.

Still the best Tex-Mex Enchiladas in the Houston area!! I was in Houston for the 2017 Livestock Show & Rodeo BBQ Cookoff and decided to take a ride to Boling to eat the red cheesy enchiladas (onions on top of course) I grew up eating when Butch (owner) was working there. Always order them with a side of fries and cream gravy for dipping, different but great combination, the best!! The enchiladas are as good as I remember, if not better, Tex-Mex comfort food at it’s best. You need to try them, you won’t be disappointed!

at they were. I disagree. They were too salty and the chili tasted like canned chili. I picked up at the drive thru and was actually about to drive off when someone came to the window. It took forever! So it’s not worth the wait.

My husband’s chicken fried steak and daughters steak fingers were delicious they said. I had the enchiladas plate while it was very good and perfect TexMex the beans were VERY salty couldn’t finish them.
