Peng’s is easily the best pizza in the area! It’s top-tier and a must visit. They make a New Haven style pizza that is cooked well done with an outstanding undercarriage. Their location is easily found and there is plenty of parking around the area, if you don’t mind a couple minutes walk. I loved their cozy space with three tables and a news article on the wall giving a wonderful background of the owner. My family loves everything about this place and including the limited menu with a rotation pizza special. I strongly encourage anyone to give Peng’s a visit.

Truly excellent pizza – thin, crisp but nicely chewy crust and perfect topping ratios. The pistachio and pickled Fresno Chile pizza is outstanding!
Tables are small and few, and we had to ask a couple times for a refill on water, but it was not a problem. We’ll be back for that pizza again soon!

Very impressed with my experience at Pengs. Walked in during the evening on Sunday and ordered a large pie. Extremely high quality enjoyable to eat pizza. Nice and light with a crisp crust and bottom. Quality real cheese ontop, excellent sauce. Photos speak for themselves.

Review from a New Haven county Connecticut resident. This pizza is probably the best in Maine and would rival some of the best in New Haven. Great ingredients, dough had good chew but was also very light simultaneously. Cooked perfectly as well, excellent crispness. The cheese was good, but the pepperoni with pickled jalapeno and hot honey is the pie to get. If you’re a pizza enthusiast, you need to give Peng’s a try.

I live in the New Haven CT area. Have a vacation home in Saco. This pizza was really good. Thin crust cooked to perfection. When you live close to the big 3 pizza places (Sally’s, Pepe’s and Modern) tough to find anything better especially in Maine. I’d classify this as New Haven Style Abeetz. The owner Chris was very nice.

This pizza is incredible. A lot of places either deliver on the fundamentals (sauce, crust, etc) but have basic toppings, or they have fun creative toppings on a mediocre base pizza. Peng’s somehow delivers on both – the crust is some of the best I’ve had (across NYC and CT) and the topping combos on their specialty pies are so well thought out and balanced, we’re always amazed how good they are! Can’t recommend this spot enough!

Peng’s Pies was so good. We were lucky enough to catch them while they were open—they sell out often, and now we see why. We dined in and ate the entire pizza. The crust, the flavor, everything was on point. If you get the chance to go, don’t hesitate. You need to try this place.

This spot is SO GOOD. Best pizza we’ve had in a really long time!! The crust reminds me of some of the really good pizza places in NYC. If I lived in the area, this would be the only place I’d ever order from. The pepperoni with hot honey and jalapeño is to die for.
There isn’t much of a dining room, but we waited for a few minutes and were able to snatch a table, so just be prepared that you might not be able to sit inside to eat.

It’s the best pizza in the state! Believe the hype, because it’s well deserved. Excellent Basque cheesecake as well, and a good choice of music playing on the speakers. Make sure to grab a pizza from this certified GEM of a little restaurant!
