Best hotdogs around along with awesome toppings. The arcade room is a huge added bonus. Bar tenders are always friendly and provide quick service. Live bands at night are great checkout on the weekend.

Whether you’re coming here during the week for a beer to unwind after a long day or a weekend night, Cardinal hits the mark. Love their patio, live music and staff. The most happening and vibrant bar spot in Clayton. Usually have live music on the weekends, famous hotdogs, a great ambience outdoor area, a little game room with pool table in the back, and great bartenders. They just opened a taco restaurant type spot as well housed next door, but I have not tried it. Great spot.

Great cocktails with a wide variety of liquor and delicious hot dogs! Their patio has heaters and is dog-friendly. They have pool tables and games in the back and occasionally live music. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area!

Great late night spot in Clayton with hot dogs on the menu and a taco spot right next door. The pepperoncini infused vodka – front to back shot – with a Bloody Mary type chaser is beyond delicious. I could have the front (pepperoncini) by itself, no chaser needed. Such a unique and delicious flavor to it and it cuts the sharpness of the vodka taste. They often have live music and karaoke / events going on through out the week and is a great spot in Clayton to hang out and enjoy a drink.

It’s pretty disappointing when the “manager” spends most of his time outside smoking cigarettes at the bar instead of actually helping the team. The staff is clearly overwhelmed and could use some real leadership. Do your job, buddy — customers notice when you don’t.

Hot Dog for dinner. Nice atmosphere. 4 beers on tap with about 15 can options. Hot dog was great. Pams not a big hot dog person and I’m a die hard Jones Carolina Packers Brightleaf hot dog supporter but it was great and great addition to downtown Clayton.
