We had dinner to celebrate an anniversary and loved the experience. The new June menu had just started that day and was wonderful. There was a good balance of classic options to more creative dishes that I wouldn’t attempt to make for myself at home.

I highly recommend Pelino’s Pasta. I went there with a group of five, two of us got the 4 course meal and three of us got the 4 course meal. We also got one cocktail and a bottle of wine. It was a bit more than $400 before tip. Portions are not huge, as expected with fine dining, but not insultingly small.

Let me start by saying: this is one of the most tasty and authentic Italian cuisine I’ve ever tried!

Let me just start off by saying the food it self looked very beautiful & service was great! As far as taste and temperature EVERYTHING lacked. Honestly so sad because we spent $200+ and I didn’t like really any of the food I got. I got the $64 four course meal. Fist course was a tomato and infused watermelon salad- horrible, bland. Just tasted like plain watermelon and plain unseasoned tomatoes with a little basil on top. 2nd course was a shrimp ravioli with a bisque like soup underneath – this was the best thing I ate but it was cold. 3rd Course I got the cacio e Pepe and it was very disappointing. Firstly, they took the giant block of cheese directly out of the fridge and immediately put my hot pasta into it- so it came to cold. Also the flavor was bland! Just tasted like milk and pepper pasta. Lastly, I made the mistake in ordering the tiramisu when I’m not a huge fan of coffee, so I didn’t like that at all either because the coffee was very overpowering. If I had the chance to do it all over, I wouldn’t come here!

The June menu is delicious. Staff is very friendly and will answer any questions. Everything we had to eat was fantastic and full of flavor. A great spot for a special occasion, will need to make reservations. We parked on the street and paid $5.50 for 2 hours of parking, your reservation is for 1 hr 45 mins and is plenty of time.

Amazing food. Maybe the best pastry chef in Columbus. Great service. Absolute atrocious wine list and mark-ups. I like when a restaurant has 2x markup. Will accept when they have up to 3x markup–but this was even more. Just terrible wine, markup, and glassware. I’ll probably just order water next time.

This is one of the most unique dining experiences in Columbus while being totally accessible and surprisingly unpretentious. When we visited, the owners were working front of house and using the opportunity to get feedback about the meal, making the restaurant feel down to earth in a way that complements its upscale facade.
