This place is great! My family has been going to Shallotte for a few years now and we just found it. The ice is awesome. They have a ton of flavors. There are some tasty signature combos, but you can combine any flavor you want. Two flavors is standard, any more I think is another $.50; double check that. Plus, all the games they have are fun for kids and families. This is a great summer stop for a sweet treat and some fun.

Hidden gem for something to cool you down! We love going and playing games while eating delicious Snoballs! Friendly owner and staff who even make suggestions when you just can’t decide (they have tons of flavors!). Always clean and the equipment for games is always working and nice! We always visit as much as possible and have never had a bad experience! Plently of places to sit and park.

I ABSOLUTELY love this place and so do most parents passing by for baseball or football being right next to the park so many things to do while you wait your turn or saving the seats in your car the price is comparable to the size your snowball of any flavor you ask for.

Sadly pelicans flavors have become watered down. We have always loved coming here when we visit Holden beach. But this time they were just not the same. They were friendly so it’s not the service. Though I did ask for 2 kiddie sizes and only got one kiddie size The flavors were just so bland this time. And it seemed like the ice was very different too. The kids were not happy and I guess we shall not be coming here anymore. Was there a change in ownership? Or a change in recipe ? I don’t but we’re sad to lose a normal visit and a good place.
