Absolutely wonderful! We went on Friday night 30 mins before close & they were still happy to see us. The choices could’ve been overwhelming but they had the best descriptions for the flavors! We tried the Carrot Cake & the Unicorn both were delicious! Even though it had been hot & raining today, you couldn’t tell at Pelican’s since they had a full roof of fans!There was a couple families there playing giant Uno or checkers and the whole atmosphere was relaxing & fun. We will definitely return & maybe even try to do the 100 flavors of summer!

Utterly and fantastically pleasant experience! The area is clean, well maintained, and the bathroom is all-but sparkling. I’m visiting from out of state and was happy to see flavors I’ve never experienced before (Avalanche Creamy King Cake for the WIN!) There were also multiple games to keep the kiddo AND the adults entertained: 2 checkers rugs, 2 cornhole sets, ball-and-ladder set, two tic-tac-toe boards, uno and go fish. Plenty of seating, benches and Adirondack chairs, fans under the awning. We didn’t anticipate spending almost two hours there but it was ABSOLUTELY worth it and I will be delighted to visit again when in the area. The owner was a wonderfully pleasant lady, as well, with fabulous staff.

Great family place. There are over 100 different flavors of snowballs, plus some specialties. There are also Sugar-Free and Kosher flavors. There are yard games, table games, and board games for families to play together. Over all, we had an amazing experience and will very likely be returning.

We have a Pelican’s SnoBall in Bowling Green, KY so when we spotted one here in Alabama, we had to stop. The building is bigger and I really liked that they have a public restroom. There are several picnic tables under a wooden canopy and they also had a few games for kids and adults. Large connect 4 and Tic Tac Toe. And there are so many flavors! Everything from Banana with cream, my favorite, all the way to a Dill Pickle flavor, ( not tried that yet). I would of given this Pelican’s a 5 star however the snowballs were smaller and not near the flavor that we were used to getting. There were 2 workers that I was in contact with and I really like friendly and kind people especially in restaurants and treat places such as this but one of them almost seemed annoyed to even take our order and money. Not 1 smile but tho other was great! Lots of smiles and thank yous.
