My husband and I ate here while staying on the beach for our honeymoon. The food was absolutely AMAZING! Our waitress was very kind and funny. The salmon w/ mashed potatoes were covered with flavor! Very filling. My husband went all out on the tsunami burger. We also had their key lime pie for dessert, very well balanced, and very delicious! I recommend eating here!!

I brought my dog down for a day at crescent Beach and decided to try this place out for lunch. Took my order of calamari and clam chowder to go so I could eat by the ocean and to my surprise, this is some of the best calamari I’ve had in my life. Even after driving it around for ten minutes and eating it out of a takeout box in the cold coastal weather, it was incredible. Every time I go to a restaurant that has calamari on the menu, I order it. It’s usually good, but rarely anything special. This is one of those rare times. Tentacles and rings, battered and fried to a fantastic golden crisp. Its got a chew, but it’s not rubbery, and the fried peppers are a perfect compliment to the flavor profile. Mix that with their spicy remoulade and garlic aioli, and you reach for perfection. I have had calamari that tops this maybe once ever before, and it was from an expensive Greek restaurant in Germany. The other part of my order, clam chowder, was also incredible and perhaps one of the best I’ve ever had as well. Excellent consistency, incredible flavor profile and lots of clams that really add a great texture. I really really enjoyed this food. The price is high but you get what you pay for here. Great work Pelican Brewing.

Came here with some friends and family after visiting the coast. The restaurant was busy, but we were able to be seated pretty quickly. Only bummer was that our friends had their dog with us and we were told we couldn’t sit outside due to the patio only having one server and being filled up. Poor doggy had to go wait in the car, but otherwise our meal was pretty great. The clam chowder was warm and delicious. Fish and chips were crispy and yummy. My husband really enjoyed his dungeness crab Mac and cheese. Appetizers were super yummy. Staff was attentive and kept our drinks filled. A great stop after a fun day around the town.

We stopped in for dinner here while staying in Cannon Beach for the evening. Even though it was a Thursday evening it was very busy and we had about a 20 minute wait to be seated but we enjoyed a beer while waiting.
The atmosphere was nice, very busy and on the louder side.
Our waitress was very attentive.
Our meals in the other hand were mediocre.
My husband had the ahi tuna poke which he said was the worst tuna he has ever had. He also noted that the ginger was over powering. Very disappointed in his meal.
I had a bowl of clam chowder which was good and a side salad which was a heap of lettuce with some almonds. It was difficult to cut the lettuce into manageable pieces on such a small plate. Our daughter had a large salad with a side of sirloin strips that were ok Her friend has the fish and chips which were non descript.
It was not a good dining experience and we won’t return. There are other restaurants nearby to try out.

We stayed one night in Cannon Beach and stopped here for dinner, and I’m so glad we did. (although the options are limited) The vibe is relaxed and homey. It’s one of those places where you feel comfortable even if you’ve never been there before.

We tried a couple of their house beers, and they were really good. The seafood dinner hit the spot after a long day of traveling. Everything came out hot, fresh, and fast. Our server was great too. Great service- friendly but not hovering.

It definitely seems like a place that gets busy, but they handle it well. Plenty of space, and even with a crowd, it never felt loud or chaotic, like you could actually hear the people at your table, which is always a win.

All around, great food, great drinks, great service. Would 100% go back next time we’re in town…especially with that beach right outside.

I had seafood linguine. It was delicious. My lady had the panko fish and chips. So it was great. For the most part. The lady mostly was interested in the fish and chips for the coleslaw description. It sounded flavorful. All the food was fantastic. Except the coleslaw. It had 0 flavor. I dont know how you have all those ingredients and somehow get less flavor. She was afraid she had covid. I tried it and I agree. The sauce just is so liquid it runs onto the plate. No flavor. Everything else was great. But id get more flavor from iceberg lettuce than that coleslaw.

Last time we vacationed on the Oregon Coast we ate a Pelican Brewing in Lincoln city. At first we wanted to eat at a more local spot figuring the chain restaurants may not be what we were looking for. The place was quite busy and there was an extended wait but in the end the food was amazing.

This time we were at Cannon Beach and with such a good experience last time we decided to try it again, and again everything was just great, and again there was a long wait but that was to be expected.

I had the cod fish and chips and it was delicious. Fish was perfect, not over saturated. Fries were fantastic too and the beer, as always, was great. Kids had clam chowder and I had to sneak myself a few bites because it was incredible too. Don’t think twice, it’s worth the wait, the food is some of the best you’ll find in town.

What a great experience! We stopped in on a Saturday night, and despite being busy, we only waited 10-15 minutes. The interior of the restaurant is quite large and very welcoming. It feels as if you are eating in a wilderness resort.
The food was fantastic! We started with the clams and oysters, both of which were delicious. It just got better when our mains arrived. The crab ravioli was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The same can be said for the crab mac and cheese! If all their food tastes that good, I don’t see you going wrong with anything on their menu!
My wife sampled several of their beers and found them incredibly tasty. I went with their home brewed root beer and cream soda. The cream soda was a bit light for me, but the root beer was bold and flavorful!
Last, but certainly not least, the staff. Our waitress, Julia, was simply wonderful! She did great at her job, but more than that was her personality. She was extremely friendly and fun, joining in on conversation and playful jokes going back and forth. Just the experience of having her as a server is worth the stop!

We visited Pelican Brewery in Cannon Beach on a Saturday night as a party of three and waited about 30 minutes for a table, which is probably to be expected on a busy weekend evening.

I ordered the burger, cooked medium-rare, and it came out perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and exactly as requested. The other two in my party had the clam chowder, which unfortunately was a bit of a letdown: overly creamy, bland, and lacking much in the way of clam or potato pieces.

Our waitress was excellent — friendly, attentive, and quick to refill waters. We don’t drink alcohol, but we noticed something unusual for a place with a bar: they serve beer only, no cocktails or mixed drinks. Not necessarily a problem, just an interesting choice. I wonder why they did this?

Also, there are no TVs in the restaurant, so if you’re hoping to watch a game while you eat, this isn’t the spot. Also wondering why they chose this?

Overall, it’s a pleasant place with a good atmosphere and great burgers. I’d go back for the burger, but I’d skip the chowder next time.
