This restaurant was amazing with great food and ambience. We were visiting the island and we ended going to this place 2 days in a row because it was amazing. Fresh fruit with every dish that was delicious. Pancakes in the shape of turtles. And a lot of home grown ingredients. Juices were fabulous as well. Overall great food! Service was great too + the place has live animals in the garden and usually some live music in the restaurant. Great experience!

Delicious breakfast & a cool atmosphere! Loved the vegan pancakes, the Hawaiian chocolate ulu waffles, & the exotic fruit sampler. Also loved the emphasis on local, organic foods! Beautiful presentation/plating, I was very impressed. Walls are full of art & the staff is very nice! We will definitely be coming back! My boyfriend also loved the biscuits & gravy, both made in house!

Honestly, my favorite place for brunch on the Big Island. The food is incredible every time, the service is always spot on, and the outdoor seating is so lovely. There are always fun creatures outside, and this trip was no exception. I think in total, I’ve encountered a tortoise, chickens, kitties, parrots, chameleons, and…. honestly I’m sure there’s been more. The fresh fruit and food are incredible also – and their BBQ sauce and salsa you can buy is pretty good too! In total, I’ve been on the Big Island 2x and have eaten here no less than 5. Would received highly!

The food here was AMAZING. The fresh fruit was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I loved the passion fruit syrup on my pancakes. It was a great little stop on our trip. I’ll be dreaming about this breakfast for a lifetime. It’s that good.

This was hands-down the best restaurant I went to on my stay on the Hilo side of the island. All the food was delicious & the presentation was wonderful. The food was clearly made in house (no Bisquick mixes) and the vegan options were really interesting – like taro cakes. I loved the tropical fruit platter – I like unusual fruits and they had one on my fruit platter I had never tried before – I think it was longan (a lychee variety). I really quite liked the longan. Your server will help you identify the fruit and how to eat it if you need help. I ate outside both times I visited & was humored to find chickens, tropical birds, and turtles hanging out in their outdoor seating area. There’s live music playing indoors if you prefer that environment. The outdoor seating was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. If I ever travel to Hawaii again I will definitely stop here for breakfast – the only complaint I have is I wish they were open all day!

This is a great breakfast spot located in Pahoa. It’s decorated in an authentic Hawaiian theme with brightly painted murals. The food is locally sourced and presented with an artistic flare. Definitely worth a stop on the Hilo side of the Big Island.

Great farm to table brunch restaurant with local cuisine. Recommend the exotic fruit platter if you’re a tourist visiting. Food was delicious. They have a patio and grow some items on site.

A really great breakfast place, it has all the fresh fruit you want and you are sure to taste the island. If you want to taste all the exotic fruit on the big island make sure to get the fruit sampler. We will definitely be back for more. This restaurant is also connected to a local farm run by the same family that offers tours that you can set up.

Good place, but… be prepared to wait! They weren’t busy at 8:45 AM, so I’m not sure why it took 20 minutes to get my food after I ordered. Quirky atmosphere. Live music (on a Friday morning). Could do better job of wiping the tables. Food is good, though! For the price, though, I might go elsewhere next time.
