Noticed everyone going to eat next door instead of here and now I’ve realized why. Restaurant interior needs a deep cleaning , lots of bugs, dirt and leaves in corners and underneath furniture . Owner asked what I wanted advised the egg foo young , stated he only had this in dinner portion-no problem. Total was almost 20$ ($1 upcharge for rice) insane price even for dinner. Advised I wanted to eat inside he stated he has a waiter and can’t accommodate me because he “can’t please everyone “ terrible answer the customer always comes first. I was going to tip very well so your loss. Food has no flavor, probably the worst Chinese food I’ve had in a while will not return and don’t recommend

I went here for lunch. I had an hour break and was able to get in, eat there and get back with 4 minutes to spare. The service was fast and friendly!! I had the lunch special of the Teriyaki chicken. I chose won ton soup with it too. The soup came out right away but was just slightly colder than I would’ve preferred. The main course came out shortly thereafter and was a GREAT portion size, especially since I was there for lunch. The chicken was very tender and numerous pieces. The veggies were cooked well and not too crispy or tender but just right. The teriyaki sauce was so delicious and plenty of it. I’m definitely going to come back here again!!! A very AUTHENTIC meal and environment if you’re looking for that real feel.

Eat in!!! The experience is amazing. The owners are super kind and attentive. The food is also amazing! We had their house special fried rice and the shrimp were huge and there was so much meat. The egg roll, crab rangoons and wings were also 10/10.

Well, it’s been years since the last visit but we tried it today because our favorite spot (Eastern China Taste) was closed for the holiday weekend. To our surprise, it was an absolutely dine-in experience.

The restaurant was clean, spacious, and authentically decorated. Our server (owner) was very attentive and made our experience wonderful.

We had hot & sour soup, egg drop soup, spring rolls, shrimp fried rice and chicken Lo Mein. Everything was excellent, tasty, and not over seasoned. To note, our Fried Rice was customized with no veggies, extra egg, extra onions, and dark sauce. Amazing!!!!!

With that, I would highly recommend Peking for authentic Chinese food. It is especially for folks looking for a nice authentic home cook meal.

Now if I rated our area, it would be 1) Eastern China (flavors), 2) Peking 3) Wei House (seasoning), 4) PF Changs (vibe) and 5) Chens (portions).

We have been missing out; no wonder it was rated best in Gwinnett 2024.

We really enjoyed Peking Chinese. Ordered the Mongolian Beef and Cashew Chicken lunch specials with hot and sour soup and egg drop soup.

Lunch specials came with the entree, fried rice, egg roll and choice of soup. The egg rolls were fabulous!

All were very good and the lunch specials were big portions.

This place used to be really good. I am always afraid when I order Chinese and it’s ready immediately. That means it won’t be fresh and I was right! The chicken was awful! You can tell it was frozen and not all the way fried. The lo mein was gummy and the beef was so chewy, my husband gave up and spit it out. I hate spending a bunch of money for trash food. :/

Even though I had a stuffy nose when I entered, there was a very strong smell of flowery disinfectant that never really went away. The place was clean, gorgeous decor in traditional American Chinese. Real glasses set the stage beautifully. The waitress was polite and quick to bring water. She brought the soup and then the egg roll. The egg drop was delicious, and the fried wontons were fresh. The egg roll was more a spring roll but tasted just OK. The carrots in it were huge for an egg roll. And the ends are too greasy. It looked as if they had reheated it. The tofu dish I got was delicious even if It was a little overcooked. The tofu should have been more pillowy and not chewy on the edges. I ordered the deep-fried dumplings to go, and they waited until I was finishing my food to cook it. I hope my daughter likes the General Tso chicken I ordered her. It looks as if it has a lot of vegetables in it. If so, this is a rare place that serves it this way. Most only have a few pieces of broccoli in it. The waitress brought me a delicious coffee jello type dessert that was fabulous. I would order it with a topping of whip cream (not the real cream they use) I am allergic so I had to forget the cream.

My husband and I were headed into the restaurant next door when I decided to ask someone coming out of Peking if the food was good. He said it was good and that he had been there for the third time this week. We decide to give it a try. It has that old school early 90’s decor and vibe, dated but very traditional and kind of cool. I decided to order chicken with veggies and when I discovered that the dish came with a brown sauce, my waiter immediately offered to prepare it with a white sauce. Perfect! The dish was perfectly prepared with a generous variety of fresh vegetables, (mushrooms, onions, celery, zucchini, carrots and broccoli). The sauce was nice and light and not over-seasoned. I appreciated having my water delivered in a very clean water goblet and not the typical “too tall” plastic cup. This was the first time I have completed drinking water with my meal in more than a decade. They must have a serious water filter because that water was delicious! Service was very attentive and this was a nice experience.

First visit went well… lunch, dine in, was able to order in Chinese, food was decent. Not super high in flavor, but cooked well.
Tonight my husband called and got takeout, and the green beans were cooked badly and differently than the last time we ordered them and they were in a super bland gross sauce. The eggplant dish was mostly onions and also lacked flavor.
And now both of us are having mild stomach issues. I don’t know if they got a different cook, or what happened, but I would never order takeout again….
