We had a great experience with our family at the Corner Cafe. For such a small town, I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend the fried fish and shrimp. I substituted fries for rice. My son-in-law said that you cannot go wrong with the chicken parmesan.

In my opinion, it’s the best restaurant in our little county. They have a huge menu, something for everyone. It’s always good. Really nice for Pike County. They have the best biscuits and gravy in this area. My favorite is their cheeseburger.

I’m really disappointed in my recent experiences and communications with corner cafe their management and the owner Jose. My family loved and frequented this restaurant and I was looking forward to using them to cater my wedding in February 2026. There has been 0 sense of urgency with follow up leaving me feeling like I’m having to chase them for a response. My last call to the restaurant was Tuesday and I was promised I’d recieve a call back that day. Its now been 3 days and still nothing. This has been the case for the last 5 or 6 weeks trying to iron out costs and details and get things reserved. Ive decided to take my business elsewhere as I don’t feel like a valued customer. As for my family they’re not too impressed either.

My first trip today. The provide much bigger portions than the average person eats! Perhaps they could cut back the amount and reduce the price! Ordered liver and onions! The liver was tough , as were the onions!! Wound up paying $37 for two lunch specials and two teas! This included the minimum tip that they require of 25% ! a bit over priced for mediocre food!
