This is the amazing original style Chinese restaurant you didn’t think existed anymore!! The decor is classic includes the traditional chinese lanterns, rich colors and embossed wall panels..even round windows in several booths! Lighting is natural, not too bright or dim, just lovely. The food is consistently of high quality, not overly expensive, beautifully presented and the staff is also top notch!! The Takara Premium plum wine works perfectly with most dishes. Some favorites so far are Moo Goo Gai Pan Combo, Dragon and Phoenix, Mu Shi Pork, Egg Drop Soup, Wonton Soup, Crab Rangoon all amazing. Also noteworthy, you will take home any leftovers in the small ‘oyster pail’ handle style Chinese paper take out boxes and a sturdy brown paper bag. It’s a very nice touch. I just highly recommend this place and feel sure you’ll be glad you visited!

Traveling through and decided on Chinese food. Friendly staff, waitresses was great and attentive. The food was delicious! The restaurant it self is definitely Chinese style along with the music. The windex bottles on the counter that the bus lady uses are visible, that bothered me. Other than that I would order from them again.

I adjust my trips so that I can stop here to eat. Better than any similar restaurants where I live. Great atmosphere, unchanging, consistent, amazingly affordable. Classic Chinese menu and cooking style. I had the House Special this time and enjoyed it. This was once rated as one of the 2 best Chinese restaurants in Virginia.

This place never disappoints; I ate here many times about 10 years ago, then moved away. Now that I have moved back I have gone many times again. It isn’t like most places where the quality goes down every year – it is just as good now as it was 10 years ago. The food is always 10/10, the husband/wife who own it work in the restaurant every day and the quality and service really show that they care about their customers. For perspective, I have eaten there appx 100 times and I have never had bad food a single time and only once of those 100 times did I receive poor service – but I told the owner and she immediately fixed the situation and it has never happened again.
